Attachment If you beat Story Mode and then play through it again, the captions for Jonathan's response to Dio kicking his dog Danny in the jaw are slightly altered. Instead of reading "何をするんだ" ("What the hell are you doing?!"), it will now read "何をするだ" ("What the hell you doing!?"), which is identical in meaning, but omits the hiragana character "ん". The typo in the second playthrough is deliberate and references a mistake made in that scene when it was published in the manga's original 1987 print run. This typo stuck around in reprints for almost 15 years, becoming a meme among Japanese fans for making the intended line sound like a "country-like scream", until it was finally corrected in a paperback release in 2002.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Into the Pit was originally supposed to release on August 8, 2024, the day of the Five Nights at Freddy's franchise's 10th anniversary. However, an error caused the game to be released one day early in Japan. As such, it was decided to release the game worldwide a day early as well, with the series' official Twitter account noting "It actually feels very fitting for a FNaF game to release EARLY!".

Attachment World 3-1's map data includes a Red Koopa Troopa inexplicably placed right above a pit, one space next to a ground tile. Because of its location, the enemy cannot be seen without the use of hacks or glitches, as the Koopa will have fallen into the pit by the time Mario reaches the spot where it spawns in. The enemy's unusual placement resulted in it going undiscovered until November 9, 2020, 34 years after the game's release.

In 1990s-era marketing for The Simpsons, Bart was consistently seen wearing light blue shirts in place of the orange shirt seen in the series, a still-unexplained phenomenon that has been referenced within the show itself. This element of marketing was reflected in many of the show's tie-in games, often with inconsistent shirt colors between a single game:

The Simpsons Arcade Game features Bart in his light blue shirt for a majority of the game. However, in the opening, Bart can be seen wearing a red shirt for a brief moment when he jumps out of the school building.
• Most versions of The Simpsons: Bart vs. The Space Mutants depict Bart wearing a red shirt, a slight difference from orange. The Amiga, Atari ST, and Amstrad versions, however, depict him wearing light blue in gameplay, though the red can still be seen on the title screen, cutscenes, and box art.
• Bart wears a show-faithful orange in all versions of The Simpsons: Bart vs. the World. However, the sliding puzzle minigame in the NES version features an image of Bart with the light blue shirt, based on the famous "Don't have a cow, man!" t-shirt.
The Simpsons: Bart's Nightmare primarily uses Bart's orange shirt. However, the title card shows Bart with a green shirt, and the Bartman minigame has Bart wear a bluish grey shirt, Bartman being assigned the blue shirt while regular Bart wears red or orange becomes a common theme from this point.
The Simpsons: Bart Meets Radioactive Man is primarily a blue shirt game. However, in the intro, Bart begins with his orange shirt, which becomes a blue shirt when he dons the Bartman mask.
Virtual Bart, while typically showing alternate universe Barts, shows Bart with an orange shirt whenever he is in his original outfit. However, the box art shows Bart wearing blue.
The Simpsons: Night of the Living - Treehouse of Horror primarily features the orange shirt Bart, but he wears a blue shirt briefly in the intro.
The Simpsons: Hit & Run is entirely an orange shirt game, but Bart can be seen with a dark blue shirt on the box art.
• In The Simpsons: Tapped Out, the most recent Simpsons video game, Bart wears an orange shirt, but Bartman wears a blue shirt.

The Simpsons: Bart's House of Weirdness, The Simpsons: Virtual Springfield, The Simpsons Bowling, The Simpsons Wrestling, and all versions of The Simpsons: Road Rage and The Simpsons Game all feature Bart wearing only orange shirts (even when Bartman appears), while The Simpsons: Cartoon Studio is the only game where Bart only wears blue shirts. Cartoon Studio was the final game to primarily use blue shirt Bart, while The Simpsons: Bart's House of Weirdness was the first game to not have any blue shirt Bart whatsoever. The Simpsons: Bart vs. the Juggernauts and The Simpsons: Escape from Camp Deadly depict blue and red shirt Bart respectively on their box arts, but do not have color, being Game Boy games.

There is a miniature model of Lloyd the Lion located in the back of the Lloyd's Main Stage Theater area. According to the game's creator UniqueGeese, he couldn't remember why exactly it was there, but theorized that he was simply testing the model and forgot to remove it due to how small it was. He added that he likely won't remove it because "it took forever for people to find it."

Attachment The Kentrosaurus notably has a unique quirk in that it will panic if placed in the same enclosure with other large herbivores, barring some exceptions like the Stegosaurus. This is in contrast with the Prima guidebook that makes no mention of this behavior and even recommends to house the Kentrosaurus with all other herbivores in the game, which suggests that this was either a glitch or an oversight on the development team's part.

Attachment In Version 0.04, Dense Woods A contained two jellyfish instead of just one, with the second being located by a lamppost near the center of the map; interacting with it only causes it to ring, without any additional results. In all recovered later builds, this jellyfish is moved out of bounds, well out of the camera's view; however, it can still be interacted with if the player uses cheats or glitches to access it. In Version 0.10, interacting with this jellyfish crashes the game due to its associated files being renamed: the jellyfish is programmed to call a file called イベント5, which was renamed to イベント_005 in Version 0.10.

Additionally, Dense Woods A's layout was redesigned in Version 0.07 to remove a gate that originally led to Mural World. Instead, the upper path is expanded to loop over to the western portion of the main road in Dense Woods A, and the remaining gate leading to Puddle World was redesigned.

Capcom offered a demo CD based upon a beta build of the game as a pre-release promo. The entire build was on the disk, with a "time trial" style of gameplay lasting 45 minutes before exiting the game. A code was eventually worked out, utilizing a GameShark cheat device in order to disable the time trial demo's timer, enabling complete access to this earlier version. A list of notable differences compared to the retail release have been noted as a result, and Capcom would never release a time trial demo disc again.

Attachment The English Steam release features a number of bugs not present in other editions:

• The lights do not dim when Madotsuki sleeps in the spaceship's bed, as the graphical filter is mistakenly set to transparent.
• Certain sound effects, such as those for flying on the Witch effect's broom and talking to an FC Priori, do not play due to them being misnamed in the game's files.
• If Madotsuki equips the Traffic Light effect, switches to the red light, and talks to the Toriningen that changes the UI's palette, the resulting text box is corrupted. This is because the correct text is displayed on another line that went untranslated.

Curiously, although the Steam release was updated four times to fix various other glitches and mistakes, none of the patches fixed any of these errors.

Attachment Version 0.09 updated the Witch effect so that a unique sound plays when moving around while riding the broom, rather than simply reusing the regular footstep sounds. This is accomplished by giving every map two copies of the same tileset: one for regular mobility and one for the broom, with the game swapping between the two as needed. While this is retained in Version 0.10, the code is simplified in the later build so that a copy of the full string is not needed on every map.

However, three areas of the game were not properly accounted for during the conversion process: the second room in Neon Tile Path, the room full of beds in Number World, and the Pink Sea all play the regular footstep sound regardless of whether or not Madotsuki has the Witch effect equipped and active. Additionally, these areas still contain leftover event data from Version 0.09's method of swapping between the two tilesets. Because the indexes for the game's tiles were altered concurrently with the streamlining of the broom code, triggering these leftover events with cheats instead swaps out the maps' graphics with ones from other areas:

• The pyramids in the second room of Neon Tile Path are replaced with Henkei Shita heads from Footprint Path A, and sitting down changes the entire tileset to that of Snow World, with the background additionally changing from solid black to solid white. It reverts back to the mostly complete Neon Tile Path tileset when Madotsuki sits back up.
• The tileset for the room full of beds in Number World is replaced with that of Forest World, temporarily reverting back to the proper visuals whenever Madotsuki sits down. The background, however, is unaffected.
• The Pink Sea is completely blacked out, as the game attempts to call blank divider tiles when in this state.

Attachment On January 22, 2018, twelve days after its initial release, the English-language Steam version received an update that "Fixed parts of the text translation," focusing on the effects menu. Most of the adjustments were minor, such as altering word choice (e.g. "Change into a faceless ghost" to "Materialize as a faceless ghost."), changing the capitalization of certain words (e.g. "Grow Long Hair." to "Grow long hair."), and changing the tone of the text (e.g. "Change into a witch." to "Become a witch incarnate."). However, more substantial changes were made to five options, changing not only the descriptions, but also the effect names:

• Get Fat was renamed Fatten, and its description was changed from "You get fat." to "Balloon in size."
• Whistle was renamed Flute, and its description was changed from "Hold the whistle." to "Brandish a flute."
• Talking Head was renamed Severed Head, and its description was changed from "Change into a talking head." to "Be reduced to a severed head."
• Devil was renamed Oni, and its description was changed from "Change into a devil girl." to "Reconstitute as an oni."
• Game Info was renamed Tutorial, and its description was changed from "See the game explanation once more." to "Review the game's tutorial."

Despite these changes, the text boxes that appear when picking up a dropped effect in the Nexus and the completed FC World version of the effects menu still contain the old names. The latter additionally misspells the Midget effect's name as "Miget." Curiously, the incomplete FC World effects menu only contains the old names for the Tutorial option and the Fatten effect; the Midget effect's name is also spelled correctly there.
