Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories

Attachment Data for The Hunter helicopter is present in the game's files, and can be spawned through the use of trainers. Its weapons are working.
Mortal Kombat
1
Attachment There is a sprite of Johnny Cage doing some sort of flip or flip kick left in the game. He does have a similar move in Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance as part of his Karate fighting style, and in Mortal Kombat (2011) as a special move. It's possible this was meant as a special move or Fatality.
Assassin's Creed III

It was originally intended for Daniel Cross Spoiler:to have a final set of dying words when Desmond assassinated him. His last words were for Desmond to kill him as the pain of the Bleeding Effect had overwhelmed him, and was driving him insane, claiming that he constantly hears voices asking to be released.
Grand Theft Auto IV

An entry for a flamethrower exists in the game's WeaponInfo.xml file, but only the title "FTHROWER" remains, with no extra data to make it playable.
Super Mario Galaxy 2
subdirectory_arrow_right Super Mario Galaxy (Game)
1
Attachment Yoshi was originally planned to appear in Super Mario Galaxy, and was featured in proposal documents for the game from 2005. However, he was removed due to the developers thinking that "it would've been too much all at once." They said that, "if you're going to put Yoshi in a game, he has to be a main element, but [Super Mario Galaxy] had spherical land forms and gravity shifts and lots of elements that were entirely new" and, "Even if we had used him, we might have only been able to use him on a single stage."

Despite this, it was decided early on in the development of Super Mario Galaxy 2 to include Yoshi in the game, because his control scheme could act as a new main element of a new game and a "multiplication" of the elements from the previous game. The Wiimote controls for Yoshi were also formed early in development, with Shigeru Miyamoto taking pride in the tongue pulling mechanic used for eating fruit, fighting enemies and flipping switches, saying it "isn’t like anything you've ever experienced before." The rest of Yoshi's controls were shaped based on internal feedback from "everybody's love" for Yoshi, listing the development team, Mario Club Inc., and Nintendo of America as primary influencers for what the image of Yoshi should be, but tried to avoid making him too powerful. The developers also had composer Kazumi Totaka record new voice lines for Yoshi for the first time in ten years, and was reported as feeling "a little uneasy" and worried that Yoshi would sound like he had aged, but these were not concerns to them and the recordings were used in the game.

The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker

Attachment The mountains around Ganon's Tower include a small cave that is usually not visible to the player. It is speculated that this may have been intended as a longer route to the tower instead of the straight entrance that Link takes in the final game.
Left 4 Dead
1
A number of infected that were visible in concept art were cut from the final game. These include:
• An infected with a large colony of rats bursting from its stomach, likely to be found in the sewer.
• A slow but strong giant called "Meat Wall" (which resembles a cross between a Boomer and a Tank).
• An infected named "Claws", which was possibly intended to be a male version of the Witch.
• An infected pig named "Hell Hog", likely intended for Blood Harvest.
Kirby's Return to Dream Land
1
Attachment An unused alternate design for the enemy Walf can be seen in the game's files. The early design is missing the blue cap, has a brighter shell color, a simpler eye, and no alternate facial expression textures.
Left 4 Dead 2
1
Attachment A riot shield was originally intended to be a usable melee weapon but was cut before the final version. Its fully textured model still exists in the game but can't be obtained without console commands or outside of custom campaigns.
Mortal Kombat II
1
Attachment There is an unused animation of Raiden lifting up and shocking someone. It was likely a Fatality, as Raiden would eventually use a similar Fatality in Mortal Kombat 4.
Resident Evil Zero
1
Attachment There is a pink herb found in the files of Resident Evil 0 that is not available in the game. Its usage is unknown and it does not appear in any of the other games unlike red, blue, yellow and green herbs.
Final Fantasy IV
1
Attachment While Kain cannot cast any magic in Final Fantasy IV, the data in the SNES version contains a two-frame animated sprite for Kain casting spells, as all other spellcasters have. The Final Fantasy IV Settei Shiryou Shuu shows a screenshot of Kain with a White Magic command, and there is an unused empty magic spell list that, based on the internal character order, was intended for him.
Final Fantasy IV
1
There is an unused 2-handed Ragnarok/Crystal in the item list within the game's data. It does not have a sword icon, but is named "None" (or "Spare" in the original Japanese version). If force-equipped to a character with a cheating device, its weapon graphic is the same as the Ragnarok sword and its attack and sound effect are also the same. It also has the same Holy attribute with an attack power of 200, the same attack power as the single-handed Ragnarok. The only difference is that it cannot be equipped by anyone. This sword is by no means obtainable in any version of the game, and it is found in all versions of Final Fantasy IV, including Final Fantasy IV: The After Years.
Super Mario 64
1
Attachment The enemy Blargg from Super Mario World is found in the game's code, but it's model and programming are unfinished. It has an animation for jumping out of lava, but doesn't do anything else.
GoldenEye 007
1
Attachment A placeholder model for objects that were not finished yet is still in the game. Strangely, it is a Borg cube from Star Trek: The Next Generation.
Lunar: Silver Star Harmony
1
Attachment A set of unused battle sprites for Eiphel can be found in the game's code. It's likely that these are early graphics that went unused, as the art style differs from the rest of the game.
The Sims 2
1
Many features introduced in the expansion packs, like weather from Seasons and driving cars in Night-life, were going to be in the base game. However, due to an office server room fire in Maxis, the data for these and many others were lost.
The Misadventures of Tron Bonne
1
Attachment 3 unused Servbot Faces can be found in the game's data. They appear to be based on the anime characters Kinnikuman from Kinnikuman, Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star, and Odate-Buta from Yatterman.
Hot Wheels Stunt Track Driver
1
Attachment There's a hidden track in the game. It can be accessed by completing tournament mode, going to the level select menu, and right clicking around the left half of the Mattel logo. This changes the music to an unused track. Proceeding to start the race will place the player on the secret level.

The level is somewhat unfinished, as the background consists only of green wireframes and the visuals are not completely synced to the collision model at some points, making the car occasionally float above the track. Aside from these details, the level is more or less complete and is entirely playable.

This level was probably a scrapped track due to time constraints or because it didn't fit the household theme well enough.
