Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty
1
After defeating Solidus Snake at the end of the game, he falls to his death from the Federal Hall building. Just before he falls however, if you look closely, you can see his lips move slightly in the brief moments that they are not covered by the collar of his exoskeleton. By replacing Solidus' model with Solid Snake's (who shares most of his facial features) through mods, it reveals that Solidus was actually saying one last message to Raiden. However, the dialogue during this moment is still muted, so his last words remain unknown.

Attachment If you throw the javelin at an 80 degree angle, you will stab an alien in the sky and it will fall to the ground. Unused graphics suggest that this alien was originally going to be an eagle, which was likely changed for being too morbid.
Yakuza 5
1
The Tsukimono area in Yakuza 5 features an ice sculpture of Hatsune Miku, a virtual idol likeness owned by Crypton Future Media and licensed out to Sega for video game appearences. Although this might be coincidental rather than an intentional reference, Crypton is located in Sapporo, the same city as Tsukimono.
Yakuza 2

A song from Yakuza 2 entitled “Block Head Boy” samples a snippet from the song “Clan in Da Front” by Wu-Tang Clan.
Auf Wiedersehen Monty
1
Attachment The game map of Auf Wiedersehen Monty is shaped like Europe, and the screens in each country are placed where that country would be on the real world map.

Attachment On March 17, 2019, in response to a post on the Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account celebrating St. Patrick's Day, YouTuber Jacksepticeye jokingly asked if he could voice "Irish the Hedgehog", to which the Sonic the Hedgehog Twitter account responded:

"Absolutely.

(We just need to create him first.)"

A year later, they made good on this promise, releasing a video titled "Irish the Hedgehog" on the official Sonic the Hedgehog YouTube channel. According to Sega, the character was designed by artist Mark Hughes, and the video included a "folksy" remix of the song "Escape from the City" from Sonic Adventure 2 made by Hyper Potions and Jun Senoue.

A few years afterwards, Jacksepticeye would return to the Sonic franchise to voice another character: the appropriately-named Jack from the "Sonic Prime" episode "It Takes One to No Place".

Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury
1
Normally the cats in Bowser's Fury would move away if Mario gets close to them, but if approached while in his Cat form, they'll instead walk over and nuzzle against him.
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
1
Attachment In the ending of the PC version of Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, the Count Olaf police mugshots are 3D squares that the camera zooms into. If you change the camera to look at the sides of these mugshots, you can see an anthropomorphic turtle holding a trophy with the caption "CONGRATULATIONS! A WINNER IS YOU!" (a reference to Pro Wrestling for NES).

Through out the Yakuza series, the character of Goro Majima speaks with a Kansai accent, a Japanese accent associated with the Kansai region where Osaka is located. This accent is also stereotyped as being associated with criminals or gangsters. There are multiple instances where Goro Majima seemingly slips back into speaking in a Kanto accent, more associated with Tokyo and without this connotation, and this is even commented on by other characters, (with one notable instance being in Yakuza 4 where his sworn brother Taiga Saejima who speaks in a more natural Kansai accent informs him his accent is slipping) suggesting he puts up the accent to make himself seem tougher or more serious.

Attachment Quik & Silva features many plagiarized characters as duplicated enemies, including characters from Nebulus, Bubble Bobble, Contra, and The Great Giana Sisters. Among these characters is Sonic the Hedgehog, whose first title had not released at that point, technically making it Sonic's first appearance in a home console video game, even if unauthorized and predated by the arcade game Rad Mobile.

Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway
1
One of the challenges in Nickelodeon Kart Racers 3: Slime Speedway is called "that's a good hook!" and allows the player to unlock Dr. Paula Hutchinson as a crew member. Unlike other challenge titles which reference catchphrases and episode titles, this references a well-known behind-the-scenes story from the production of Rocko's Modern Life, where a request from a Nickelodeon executive for the series to feature a strong female role model with a "good hook" led to the conception of Hutchinson and her signature hook hand.

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars
subdirectory_arrow_right Super Mario RPG (Game)
1
Various pop culture references that were made in the original English release of Super Mario RPG were removed in the remake:

• Mallow no longer mentions Bruce Lee prior to him and Mario going to fight Bowyer.
• Punchinello no longer references James Bond or the Thing during his boss fight.
• Mini Goomba's Thought Peek no longer references Theodore Roosevelt's aphorism "Speak softly and carry a big stick. You will go far."
• Stinger's Thought Peek no longer references the 1990 Madonna song "Vogue".
• The password clues on the Sunken Ship are no longer written by famous explorers.

Some of these references, such as the Bruce Lee reference, may be due to licensing issues.

Spot Goes to Hollywood
1
Attachment If you enters password PROGRESS and then the cheat code A, Right, Down, B, Left, Up, B, B, A in Spot Goes to Hollywood's pause screen, you will unlock a minigame called FRUITMEISTER 2, a slot machine game using developers' heads. There is no reward for winning the game (something cheekily acknowledged in-game with the caption "win a prize or something - probably"). A first FRUITMEISTER minigame is not currently known to exist in any other Eurocom game.

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale
1
Attachment When Hades appears in the Polygon Man boss fight, there is a rare chance that he will perform a dance akin to a cowboy swinging a lasso while spinning in a circle. This dance originated from the 1995 episode "Viva Lost Wages" of the TV series "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air", where Will and Carlton are forced to enter a talent contest to win money to return home from Las Vegas. During the talent contest, they performed a dance set to The Sugarhill Gang's cover of the Jerry Lordan-penned song "Apache" (also known as "Jump on It"), and the dance in question was originally improvised by actors Will Smith and Alfonso Ribeiro prior to the episode's filming backstage. The cowboy portion of this dance would later be popularized around the time of PlayStation All-Star Battle Royale's release through an appearance in the music video to "Gangnam Style" by Psy. It is not known if there is any way to intentionally trigger this Easter egg.
