The European release of the game features completely different music for the title screen, main menu, Lesson Mode, and both Birdo and Wario's turns in Round Game mode. Additionally, the results screen features a unique song instead of reusing the main menu theme.
The European-exclusive tracks were composed by Hiroaki Suga and Tadashi Ikegami, the sound team from the SNES version of Wario's Woods. Consequently, the songs are much closer to that game's style than to the NES version.

The game was the last NES game to be released in the US on December 10, 1994. Because of the release date, it's also the only NES game to receive an official ESRB rating, being "K-A" (Kids to Adults).
