The final boss, the helicopter Warhawk, has an unused character select portrait in the game files, clearly indicating that it was a considered addition during development. The nature of the vehicular game design was likely too incompatible with a flight-based character.
Interestingly, as with all characters in the game, the vehicle name is separate from the driver of said vehicle. While the helicopter is only known as Warhawk, the pilot is referred to as Black Razer, while in the final game, nothing is known about the identity of Warhawk's pilot.

An unusual dummy file can be found in the game files, in the form of a humorous text file which states:
"Move along, nothing to see here...."
"Move along, nothing to see here...."

A hidden, "Unlock Everything" cheat code exists in the game that requires a "Master Code" to enable the second button input's activation. The two separate segments of the cheat code must be inputted in a collective total of exactly 24 seconds, with a 12 second pause required between each code entered.

The European release of the game suffered from numerous cuts to censor objectionable content, including the removal of all cutscenes (except a heavily edited cutscene of the selected vehicle entering and leaving Minion's Stadium, and a shot of the vehicle driving down a street in the ending cutscene). Other cuts included the removal of the Boeing 747, drivers running from their wreckage while on fire, the loading screen text pieces and in-game info of the drivers. However, short clips of the cutscenes were shown during the credits, as well as a gameplay clip showing the 747 being shot down.

In early production of the game, Warhawk was intended to be a playable character and even had pictures for the character select screen, but near the end of production, it was discovered that Warhawk was too powerful for multiplayer and the control scheme did not work well for a helicopter, so he was removed from the final version of the game.

During Minion's loading screen, instead of words, he will speak in numbers. When translated, Spoiler: he hints that the entire game may be in Needles Kane's (Sweet Tooth's) head.
• 1. I do not think this is real.
• 2. I must speak in code or he will discover me.
• 3. We are trapped in his head.
• 4. This is how he sees the world, how Sweet Tooth sees his life, it is not real.
• 5. All of us are trapped in his head.
• 6. I miss the old colorful world.
• 7. We will return to old world one day.
• 8. In the real world my name is Marcus Kane.
