Game & Watch Gallery
1
Attachment In Australia, the game was called Game Boy Gallery 2 as it served as a sequel to the 1995 game Game Boy Gallery which was released exclusively in Europe and Australia, whilst in Japan it was known as simply Game Boy Gallery.
Pokémon Platinum Version
1
The European versions of the game have 'Game Machines' rather than slot machines. As playing slot machines is needed to obtain TM64, the European versions of Platinum will occasionally reward the player with the TM while talking to the Game Corner's receptionist. The reason for this change comes from implementation of more aggressive and strict legislation in the European Union towards gambling.
Ratchet & Clank
1
Attachment On the cover of the US release are a number of weapons in the background. One near Ratchet's head reads "____NTO-RAY". No weapon in the final game fits this name, nor looks like the image associated with it. However, one of the cut weapons for the game was called the "Giganto Ray", and it is likely that this design was left on the cover by mistake.
One Piece: Grand Adventure
1
During localization, everything that referenced the term Marine was changed to reference the term Navy. However, in adventure mode, some characters still make mentions of Marines instead of Navy a few times.
Pokémon Crystal Version
1
In the French localization of Pokémon Crystal, the Wise Trio are named Ken, Shuu and Raoh, referencing the manga Fist of the North Star.
Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars
1
Unlike the covers of nearly all Grand Theft Auto games since Grand Theft Auto III, Chinatown War's cover doesn't have a picture of a helicopter in the top left corner.
One Piece: Pirates' Carnival
1
Though they were cut from the opening, for some reason 4Kids Entertainment decided to keep the Jaya/Skypiea stage in the game, but made the board a secret and only be accessable through the use of a password. Blackbeard, Bellamy, Wiper (dubbed Wyler by 4kids), Satori, and Enel are all still in the game.

Attachment In the Team of Blues release, the Japanese version of Team ProtoMan, there exists a menu for using the Wireless Adapter, rather than the Link Cable, for multiplayer play. It's possible to access this menu through the use of hacking tools, although the feature is not actually programmed. Both the ProtoMan and Colonel versions can use the Wireless Adapter for the Crossover Battle with Boktai 2: Solar Boy Django, so it's unknown why this feature was dropped from the main multiplayer section of the game.
One Piece: Pirates' Carnival
1
Certain Captain games were changed (mostly for the Water Seven/Enies Lobby arc characters) in the American version, for example, Kalifa and Kaku were replaced with Cabaji and Mohji, Blueno was replaced with Pandaman, and Franky and the Franky Family were replaced with Buggy and Cabaji. All the mini-games were still the same in playability, but the models/audio/title card for each game were changed. Meanwhile, Rob Lucci's minigame was completely taken out of the American version.
One Piece: Pirates' Carnival
1
Attachment The US boxart for the game actually takes images from another Japan only One Piece game, "One Piece: Round the Land". The only edit to the character images was that Sanji is holding two Wapol chests in the U.S. while in Japan, Enel was one of the chests as well.
One Piece: Pirates' Carnival
1
The opening sequence in the game was heavily edited for the English dub (which was translated by 4kids). In the frames where Franky and the Franky Family were seen, it was replaced by in game screen pans of Buggy, Mohji, and Cabaji. Blackbeard, Enel, and the Foxy Pirates screen time in the opening was also replaced with gameplay footage. In one of the final segments, where it showed a group of characters, Wiper and Bellamy were replaced with Crocodile and Mr. 2 Bon Kurei, and Porche of the Foxy Pirates was replaced with Hina.
One Piece: Unlimited Cruise 2 - Awakening of a Hero
1
In the European release, Garp's profile incorrectly states that he was a legendary pirate (as opposed to a marine). This is true of both Wii and 3DS versions of the game.
Hey You, Pikachu!
1
Attachment In the US release, going to Cobalt Coast in Pikachu's Play Days leads to a Piñata party where Pikachu has to hit a Pokéball Piñata. In the Japanese release, Pikachu instead plays a similar game called Suikawari.

The objective of the game is to hit a watermelon with a stick, with Pikachu wearing Ash's hat from the anime series to cover his eyes. There are watermelons scattered around along with bananas. Pikachu can trip on the watermelons a couple times before he has to quit the game, whereas tripping on bananas is an automatic game over.

If Pikachu loses, he gets a Soda Can Tab in the Japanese release, and a bottle cap ring in the US release's "Pokéball Piñata".
Ni no Kuni: Dominion of the Dark Djinn
1
Attachment The DS Ni no Kuni game, released exclusively to Japan, included a full printed version of the Wizard Companion book. Pre-ordering the PS3 Wizard Edition also rewarded players with a physical version of the Wizard Companion.
Diddy Kong Racing DS
1
Attachment Dixie Kong and Tiny Kong replaced Conker and Banjo in the DS remake. This is thought to be due to a legal issue, as both IPs belong to Microsoft after Rare were bought by Microsoft in 2002.
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories
1
Fingerless gloves appear on the PlayStation 2 version of the Hired Muscle outfit; in the PlayStation Portable version, only a wrist band is seen in regular gameplay, while the gloves are only featured in cutscenes.

In the PSP version of the game, if the player continues the side mission, Car Salesman, after level 6 and reaches level 9, a snowy weather effect starts to appear and continues appearing in further levels. This is possibly there to make driving more difficult. The snow disappears if the player fails or cancels the mission, and Car Salesman cannot be played again afterwards, so you can only see this once. This weather effect does not appear in the PS2 version of the game.

Attachment In the parking lot behind the Liberty Tree building in Bedford Point, there is a hidden sign, showing a handwritten message and Rockstar Leeds' signature smiley. The PlayStation Portable version says: "Hello again!", while the PlayStation 2 version says "You just can't get enough of this alley, can you?". The sign can be found by jumping over the walls around the lot using a tall vehicle.
