Super Mario Advance

Attachment The "Item Get" jingle from The Legend of Zelda is in the game's files. It was possibly used for test purposes.
Super Paper Mario
1
There are six unused audio tracks in Super Paper Mario. The first one is named "Dummy_32k". Dummy plays the tune of World 1-1 from "Super Mario Bros 3." Another is named "b_happy_flower_44k_lp." It's name suggests it was going to be used for when Mario uses the Happy Flower item. The next audio track is called "evt_relax1_44k_lp." This track is a peaceful, relaxing tune. It might been planned for use near the end of the game. The 4th audio track is called "evt_stg3_open1_44k_lp." It was most likely going to be used for a opening of a level in World 3. The next is called "ff_corrrect2_e3_32k." This unused jingle's name suggests there was supposed to be more than one jingle. The final unused audio track is a jingle named "ff_fault1_32k." This was most likely going to be used when failing a Mini-game.

An unused badge named "Trade Off" still exists in the games data. It was very close to being completed, but never saw the light of day. It had its name translated, and works properly. When used in battle, it will say "Rank Up." The player would be rewarded with more star points after the battle, but the enemies would become tougher.

Attachment An early Bonetail texture can be found in the game's data. The only difference is that it has a blue eye. In the final game, Bonetail doesn't have a visible eye, only empty sockets.

Attachment Whacka has an entry in the enemy name table and a tattle. Based on the tattle, it seems that earlier in development, instead of disappearing after being hit enough times, he would attack.

This concept was eventually implemented for the Nintendo Switch remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door. Spoiler:If Mario hits Whacka at Keelhaul Key until he flees and revisits the Pit of 100 Trials after defeating Bonetail, Whacka will appear as an optional superboss on the final floor. True to his unused tattle in the N64 game, Mario must hit him in order to begin the fight.

While the ending of the Bowser's Message fanfare from Super Mario 64 is used when Mario is shocked by what one of the flying letters has, there's also the first half of the fanfare left unused in the game.

Attachment Despite not appearing in-game, a sound effect for Yoshi from Super Mario World can be found in the game's files. In the pre-release trailers, the sound can be heard when Mario jumps on a note block.
Pikmin 2

There is early English script for "Louie's Notes" that usually can't be viewed outside of hacking/cheating. All of Louie's Notes were changed during development. There are also 6 missing entries, suggesting they didn't exist early in development. They are:
Spoiler: "Hairy Bulborb"
"Decorated Cannon Beetle"
"Volatile Dweevil"
"Toady Bloyster"
"Segmented Crawbster"

and finally, the Spoiler: "Waterwraith".
Manhunt

Attachment A boss character by the name Binbag was removed from the game early in it's development. He was originally the leader of The Lost gang. It is stated in the bonus material that an early model for Binbag was made before he and The Lost were dropped from the game.
Super Mario Galaxy

A collection of realistic-looking bugs can be found in the game's files rigged and animated. It is unknown what these bugs would have been used for.
Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity

Attachment Through hacking, Victini can be made playable in the main storyline. Though it lacks a sleeping animation (Victini will seem to jump between laying down and standing up for the duration of its "sleep"), it has a full move set and range of animations. It was possibly cut from the game's playable roster due to the power of the move Searing Shot, and later re-added as the Victini seen at the V-Wheel in later stages of development.
Minecraft: Java Edition

Attachment If a Spider is spawned in the Nether, there is a very rare chance that it will spawn with a Wither Skeleton riding it. This behavior normally goes unused, because Spiders don't spawn in the Nether.
Donkey Kong 64

A ROM was ripped from a demo kiosk version of the game, and was found to have three demo levels in it. They were the Army Dillo level, the Mine Cart level, and the Dogadon fight. Certain beta elements were in the ROM such as the silver balloon counter, Army Dillo's speech, and Dogadon's beta spit noise.
Team Fortress 2

Attachment Ludmila is a scrapped unlockable primary weapon for the Heavy. Its appearance was later used for Natascha, and the model is still referred to internally as "c_ludmila".
Team Fortress 2
1
Attachment The P.D.Q. was a scrapped melee weapon for the Engineer that was tested in the Team Fortress 2 Closed Beta. It used the game's Wrench model.
The P.D.Q. does not have the ability to be used to upgrade buildings, and instead increases the Engineer's rate of construction by 150% when hitting the building with this weapon.
Team Fortress 2

Attachment A Fire Retardant Suit was a scrapped secondary weapon for the Spy that was available for use in the Team Fortress 2 Closed Beta.
Two variants of the Fire Retardant Suit are known to have been tested. The first Fire Retardant Suit simply reduces incoming fire damage by 90%. The Fire Retardant Suit Beta 2 does not reduce fire damage, but instead grants the wearer complete immunity to the afterburn effect.

Attachment The Branding Iron is a scrapped melee weapon for the Pyro. It is an over sized branding iron which bears the initials 'TF' on its head.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3

References to two cut Spec Ops missions can be found in the game's files. The first one is Defend Ferris, and judging by the lobby image associated with it, the player would presumably have had to defend a ferris wheel. The second is named Assault Mine, and its lobby image shares some similarities with the Spec Ops mission "Fire Mission", but there is otherwise nothing known about it.
Super Mario World

Attachment Early screenshots of the game show that Raccoon Mario was to return, before being replaced by Cape Mario. A raccoon leaf and a few Raccoon Mario sprites are also present among other early Super Mario World graphics found within the data of a SNES test cartridge, used by Nintendo to test and diagnose the consoles and controllers.
