Attachment A graphic of the American flag can be found in the game's files. This could suggest that there was originally going to be a language selection screen.
Super Mario Galaxy 2
1
Attachment Inside the game's files is an unused animation for King Lakitu. It shows him being hit so hard that his glasses fall off, causing him to search his face for them. However, the animation appears unfinished, as his fingers do not move, and his expression does not change.
Super Paper Mario
1
Attachment There's an unused enemy in the game's data named "Fly Guy" which is a Flying Shy Guy using a propeller. It's unknown where this would have been used in the game.
Spider-Man 2: The Sinister Six

A hidden message can be found in the game's ROM. The text references some of the developers: Grant Davies, Michael Smith, Peter Suwara, Paul Clarke and Ivan Kenny-Sumiga, respectively.

Grant was last seen fleeing Torus Games with a briefcase packed full of money under each arm. He remains wanted in 4 states.

Smitty made several unsucessful attempts to circumnavigate the world in a lunch box. He now lives in Peru.

Peter 'Stinky' Suwara devoted his life to the quest of spiritual enlightenment. He has lived in recluse since Spider-Man.

Paul submitted several game designs to Activision, all featuring a snowboard and a railgun. None were accepted.

Ivan was arrested after a hosting series of wild parties with crazy antics. He is currently serving 32 life sentences in a state penatentiary.
The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Attachment There are three unused sound files named "moan2.mp3," "roar2.mp3," and "scrm2.mp3" that can be found in the Morrowind data files. These are placeholder sound clips of kittens that the developers used for the Kagouti while the game was still in development. The clips were obviously replaced with more appropriate noises for the Kagouti, but the files themselves were not removed.
Paper Mario
1
Attachment An enemy known as "Albino Dino" appear as statues in the "Crystal Palace" but are never fought. They can still be fought by using GameShark Codes, and Goombario actually has tattle dialogue for them. They only have one attack, a charging ram that damages Mario.
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
1
Attachment A number of Nintendo characters from other games were originally going to appear in the Starbeans Café. Captain Olimar, Samus Aran, Fox, Wario, an Excitebike Racer, and Link would have shown up and each given the player an item. E. Gadd would only have shown up on the player's first visit to the coffee house. The items the player receives were also different.

• Olimar: UV Lamp, replaced with Cobalt Necktie
• Wario: Wario's Gold, replaced with Greed Wallet
• Samus: Energy Tank, replaced with Power Grip
• Excitebike racer: Excite Spring
• Link: Triforce, replaced with Great Force

The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Attachment Morrowind's data files contain a number of test rooms that can be accessed using the game console. The rooms include "Character Stuff Wonderland", "Clutter Warehouse - Everything Must Go!", "Draugr Test" (in BloodMoon), "ken's test hole", "Mark's Script Testing Cell" (in BloodMoon), "Mark's Vampire Test Cell", "Redoran Test", "Redoran Test 2", and "ToddTest".

Many of these rooms have self-explanatory purposes, although a few have noteworthy attractions in them. The "Clutter Warehouse - Everything Must Go!" room has two strange NPCs in it: Lord Cluttermonkey, who is an Argonian in Daedric armor who has a mace called Clutterbane, and the Used Clutter Salesman, a Bosmer dressed in exquisite clothes who has a Daedric warhammer.
Super Mario 64
1
Attachment There is a metal wing texture in the game for combining the Wing Cap and Metal Cap, similar to how the Vanish Cap and Metal Cap can be combined in Dire Dire Docks. There are no levels in the game where it would be possible to equip both simultaneously, but they do function and use this texture if given to Mario via hacking.
Mortal Kombat 4
1
Attachment It was originally intended for Kitana to appear as a fighter. Her color palette was swapped to yellow and thus created Tanya. While Kitana's model and textures were removed from the Playstation release, leaving only her moveset in the code, she is still fully functional in the N64 and PC releases, and can be accessed with a GameShark code or patch.
Half-Life
1

Super Mario 64

LEGO Island 2: The Brickster's Revenge
1
There is an unused musical track in the game's files by the name of "Town Bridge". It is unknown what this track would have been used for, as there isn't a bridge, besides a small road bridge, in the game.
Mario Kart DS

Mario Kart DS seems to pad certain parts of memory with repeated instances of ASCII art of Mario from Super Mario Bros.
Pokémon Yellow Version: Special Pikachu Edition
1
Among the NPC Pokémon trades in the game's data are three trades not assigned to any NPC, and thus inaccessible. One of them, a Beedrill in exchange for a Butterfree, exists in the data of every first-generation title. The nickname of the Beedrill even changed from version to version, but the trade remained unused.

Pokémon Yellow replaced two functioning trades with unused ones. One requests a Pidgeot for a Pidgeot, and the other is a Mew for a Mew. In Japan, both are nicknamed Matsumiya, presumably after Toshinobu Matsumiya, who was in charge of Yellow's scenario. In the English version, the Pidgeot is named MARTY and the Mew is named BART.
Fur Fighters: Viggo's Revenge
