Originally, ice cream could be bought from street vendors. Sound files still exist in the game's data.
Pikmin 2
1
Attachment Unused Data in the game includes a 7th Pikmin type (the 6th being Bulbmin). Hacking the game and giving the player this type reveals they are actually Pik-Pik Carrots. They don't have much animation, and they float a bit above ground. Their stems always have a leaf on top, even if a bud, flower or spicy glow overlaps it. It also glows green when idle, like Bulbmin. They act, react and sound like any other non-Bulbmin Pikmin, and have no special attributes or defences. Finally, on the HUD, their "standby Pikmin" icon doesn't exist, and they get skipped over when calculating the closest Pikmin.

Attachment A fully-textured model of a Ripper from earlier Metroid games can be found among the Phazon Mines files. The hook on the bottom suggests that they may have been used as grapple points. They were probably replaced with Gliders, which serve the same purpose, and are found in the Phazon Mines as well as in Phendrana Drifts.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
1
Attachment In the Japanese version of the game, dying as Alucard against certain bosses such as Succubus, Death or Richter triggers a special quote from said bosses instead of the usual Game Over music, with Richter notably having two. Another quote can be triggered if the player dies after meeting Maria in the Royal Chapel but before meeting Richter at the Colosseum

While the US and EU versions do not implement these, there are unused translated versions of Richter, Maria and the Succubus' lines, spoken by their English voice actors.

Maria: "I thought you might be the one. But, I was wrong."

Succubus: "Now, you'll be my own personal slave. Ahahahahahahaha!"

Richter: "Hah, I knew it! Only the Count is a true match for me!" / "More, fight more! My blood is not yet quenched!"

Kirby's Block Ball
1
Attachment There are two unused, but fully coded enemies present in the game data. The first one is Pengi, whose graphics are loaded on Stage 7-2 but never used. The other is Waddle Doo, who is not loaded on any of the stages and has a death animation in which his eye pops out, which might be why he was never used.
Banjo-Kazooie
1
Attachment Inside the game's data is an unused sign that says "On Vacation" It was most likely originally intended to be used for Mumbo's hut in the Winter area of Click Clock Wood. Instead, a Beehive tells Banjo that Mumbo is on vacation.

1
Putt-Putt's sprite used in Putt-Putt Joins The Parade and Putt-Putt Goes to The Moon is still present in the game, but it's rendered incorrectly with a broken color pallet.

Two alternate HOME screen jingles can be found in the game's files. Attachment Graphics for a game over screen exists in the game's data. Most of the graphics are the same as in other screens, but two of the textures are the words "GAME OVER" (one of them is likely an alpha channel). This texture is present in all versions of the game, and in all regional folders in the data.

Attachment Within the game's files is an unused land mine. Though it goes unused, by modifying the game to insert it back into a level, it appears to be fully functional.
