Jimmy Neutron vs. Jimmy Negatron
1
In the game there are several placeholder voice clips (presumably voiced by a developer) as well as a low-quality version of the TV show's theme song and a low-quality clip of the song No One by Fear Factory.
Platform: Game Boy

The Game Boy "Controller Kensa" cartridge is a test cart that allowed Nintendo Service Representatives to check the buttons on a Game Boy (or a SNES controller if it is in a Super Game Boy). This cart has unused test music and unused graphics from the games Alleyway and Super Mario Land.

There exists a GameCube Service Disk that was used by the Nintendo World Class Service to test and diagnose problems with the console and peripherals. It is assumed that once Nintendo retired the World Class Service, they took back the disks and destroyed them, which would explain why there are very few ever found.

This disk contains a fair amount of unused content, from unused sounds and unused test pictures to stereoscopic 3D test pictures.
Castlevania

Attachment The Famicom version was on the Disk System and allowed players to save their progress. This feature was removed in the international version, and the music that accompanied the screen was removed along with it. The short, simple tune has been used in future instalments for the same purpose.
Sonic Championship

There are a few unused songs found within the game's data. One is an alternate version of the character select screen (which is used in the options menu in the Sonic Gems Collection port), one is called "Sunset Town" on the official OST yet doesn't make an appearance in the actual game, another is unused and is not found in the OST so it is impossible to tell what it may have been used for, and the final track is named "Hurry Up". Based on the name it sounds like it could have been used for the Death Egg Hanger, but this track goes unused anyway. Strangely enough, this song became the pre-race cinematic music in the Death Egg DLC for Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed.

There are several games that are not present in the US version, but their listings in the games menu can be seen with Action Replay codes. These games include:

• Bonanza Bros
• Streets of Rage 1
Streets of Rage 2
Streets of Rage 3
• Wonder Boy III: Monster Lair
• Wonder Boy in Monster World
• Monster World IV
• Sonic Eraser

Bonanza Bros and each Streets of Rage game are unlockable in the Japanese version but none of these games can actually be played on the US version.
Mother 3
1
There is an unused favorite food item that heals 300 HP to a single party member, which can be bought for 200 DP. Suggesting that the favorite food was planned for inclusion at some point of the game.
Hotel Mario
1
There is an unused help dialog that uses the same voice for Mario as the unused cutscene for when the player defeats Roy.
Zelda: The Wand of Gamelon
1
There are two unused backgrounds in the data for the intro and ending cutscenes. The first one is a leftover from Link: the Faces of Evil and the second one is unique to the game.

Attachment Niko's default outfit did not have a white stripe on the collar during development. This can be seen in multiple pre-release screenshots.
Grand Theft Auto IV

Freddi Fish 4: The Case of the Hogfish Rustlers of Briny Gulch

There's an unused version of the theme that plays when Nelson Torso the Blacksmith puts the belt buckle together. The difference is that this version doesn't have the melody in it.
Spider-Man and Venom: Maximum Carnage
1
Stored in the game's code is a list of all the levels in the game, but there doesn't seem to be any programming that loads this data.
Sonic the Hedgehog
1
Attachment In the original teaser trailer for the game, Sonic was shown to be able to transform into Super Sonic at will and not just during a boss fight. This was a feature that couldn't be done in previous 3D Sonic games , but was cut during development due to extreme time constraints. However, by hacking the game, an unused gem called the rainbow gem can be found and equipped. When used Sonic performs an animation where he is supposed to transform, but immediately drops to the ground once the animation is complete, a relic of the Super Sonic transformation feature.
Harvester

The game's designer, Gilbert Austin, wanted the game to feature a time-based night, with the clock running at a compressed scale. This would allow the player to encounter someone or overhear a conversation at a specific location at a precise moment of time. However, early on during development, Austin was told that this idea would not be used.
Shadow of the Colossus
1
The game was at one point in early development going to feature multiplayer. Back when it was Project Nico, a 2003 tech demo depicted a group of masked, horned boys riding horses while attacking and defeating a colossus. This feature was ultimately dropped from the final product.

Fumito Ueda and Kenji Kaido (producer) revealed that it was merely a technical demo designed to show off the interaction mechanics between the hero and Colossus. The creation of the demo was more important than the creation of entirely new characters, so they had simply used an existing character model for the demo.
