Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
1
Attachment In version 1.1, one of the Inkling Girl's gestures was altered, as the original animation could have been interpreted as an offensive gesture in certain cultures.
Capcom Fighting Evolution
1
Attachment Originally, there was going to be a group of characters representing the original Street Fighter. It consisted of Retsu (in what was meant to be his playable debut), Eagle (in his Capcom vs. SNK 2 incarnation), and a redesigned younger version of Sagat without the chest scar. Due to time constraints, all three were cut from the game
Minecraft: Java Edition
1
Attachment The feature to feed parrots cookies to breed and tame was removed in a patch due to outcry from the Minecraft community. In real-life, chocolate cookies can kill birds if fed to them and people felt that children who played the game would try to copy this. The feature was changed prior to the release of patch 1.12.

Feeding cookies to parrots was also a subtle reference to the song "Polly" by the band Nirvana.
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
1
The game contains two unused hot air balloon models with the "Mario Kart" title written on them. Despite the fact that they cannot be found in the final game, both can clearly been seen in pre-release screenshots of the "Dry Dry Desert" level.
Nintendogs: Labrador & Friends
1
The Papillon and Maltese breeds were in development for the game but never finished. Their placeholder files can still be found in the game's code. The Maltese did eventually become a selectable breed in Nintendogs + Cats.
Grand Theft Auto IV

Originally, TW@ was able to sell food and had a larger selection of staff. Audio associated with this unused feature still exists within the game's files.
Grand Theft Auto IV

According to a website made by prop artist Gill Bertram, there was going to be another accessible bank in Liberty City based on an unnamed New York bank. Additionally, the same website features a screenshot from the beta that shows a slightly different HUD and a different font for the money counter.
Grand Theft Auto IV
1
A café restaurant called Rockstar Café was cut and was renamed Superstar Café; however, the beta name is still on the employees outfits. More evidence of the original name can be found in the game files.
Yooka-Laylee
1
Attachment At the end of the game's E3 2016 trailer, a Jiggy from Banjo-Kazooie can be seen in one of the character's drink glasses. This nod to some of the senior developers' previous series seems to be completely removed from the final game however, as Playtonic likely do not have the rights to use it.
Freedom Planet
1
Attachment There were plans to include an editor mode for the Sheng Mu Academy where players could create their own maps/challenges, but it was scrapped for having too many bugs.
Sonic Lost World
1
Found within the game data for the Wii U version of the game are files for the Cube and Spike Wisp Powers from Sonic Colors, along with an unused Snake Transformation, none of which appear in either versions of the final release.
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks
1
Found within the game's data are 2 unused tracks from Phantom Hourglass, The Great Sea and Boss Battle themes. Both tracks use different instruments to the originals, along with added echo effects.
South Park Rally
1
The characters Mrs Crabtree, Chickenlover and a clown were originally intended to be playable characters and not just level obstacles. This is suggested by the character menu portraits and sound files found in the game's files.
South Park Rally
1
Despite only being not playable in the Nintendo 64 version, the characters Ms Cartman, Mrs Broflovski, and Scuzzlebutt, and extra skins for characters, can be found in the game's files.
Phantasy Star IV: The End of the Millennium
1
The game has an unused map feature for both Motavia and Dezolis.

An unused finish line sign can be found in the game's data, suggesting that there may have been a racing mode at one point during development.
Arkanoid
1
Attachment The ROM for Arkanoid features a half-functioning level editor which can be accessed by using cheats. The joystick can't be used to select blocks, and turning off the cheat while in use will freeze the Vaus upon respawning.
Klonoa
1
Attachment A special redesign of Klonoa was considered for the game's North American release, but due to negative reception from both critics and fans alike, it was scrapped.
Gran Turismo 2
1
Attachment There are loads of unused vehicles in the game. For example, the Prius R Mod and the VW Polo are both stored in the game's memory. At least a few dozen other cars are also playable using game mods.
Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion XL
1
Attachment There are five unused icons in the game's files that might be from characters that went unused in the final game. They include Mandark, Wilt, Gwen, Schnitzel, and Captain Sticky Beard from Dexter's Laboratory, Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, Ben 10, Chowder, and Codename: Kids Next Door, respectively. All of these characters (aside from Wilt) appear as assists in the game.
