If Link is wearing the Captain's Hat during the fight with Igos du Ikana, a cutscene will take place where he will mistake Link for Captain Keeta, a military general for the Ikana. He then realizes that Link is too tiny to be Keeta and then resumes attacking Link.
Silent Hill: Homecoming

The opening of Homecoming is a homage to the film Jacob's Ladder.
Silent Hill: Homecoming
1
Attachment In Silent Hill 2 there was a wall covered by newspaper, and written in blood were the words "There was a HOLE here. It's gone now." There is a spot referencing this in Homecoming with a commentary citing "There was a picture here, but it's gone now".
Dead Rising 2
1
Ijiek, the fictional motorcycle company, is just Keiji Inafune's (creator of the Dead Rising series) first name backwards.
Street Fighter IV
1
Attachment When you beat the car smashing bonus stage with either Cody or Guy, a man will side step into frame, drop to his knees, and yell, "Oh, my car!". This is a reference to the car smashing bonus stage in Final Fight, where the same thing would happen if you completed it in time. This scene can also be triggered by all of the Final Fight characters in the USF4 version of the game.
Twisted Metal: Black
1
Attachment During Minion's loading screen, instead of words, he will speak in numbers. When translated, Spoiler: he hints that the entire game may be in Needles Kane's (Sweet Tooth's) head.

• 1. I do not think this is real.
• 2. I must speak in code or he will discover me.
• 3. We are trapped in his head.
• 4. This is how he sees the world, how Sweet Tooth sees his life, it is not real.
• 5. All of us are trapped in his head.
• 6. I miss the old colorful world.
• 7. We will return to old world one day.
• 8. In the real world my name is Marcus Kane.
Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones
1
The last lines of dialog the Prince says are supposed to be the same as what he says in the first game, The Sands of Time, meaning he was telling the story of all three games to Spoiler:Farah after they defeated the Dark Prince and Zurvan. However, the last lines the prince says were changed. In the Sands of Time, his last lines were, "...You may wonder who I am or why I say this. Sit down and I will tell you a tale like none that you have ever heard..." In the Two Thrones, he says, "...You may wonder who I really am or why I say this. Come, and I will tell you a tale like none that you have ever heard..."
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots
1
In an April Fool's Day trailer, Altaïr from Assassin's Creed was shown fighting Metal Gears. At the end of the trailer, he removes his robe to reveal Solid Snake. Though seen as a joke at the time, Altaïr's robe can still be unlocked in game.
Persona 4 Golden
1
In the cutscene for the Ski Trip, if you look a Rise's jacket, you'll see "Lovers '06". This is a reference to Rise's Arcana, "The Lovers", which is the 6th Arcana (VI).
Mega Man X3
1
There are two hidden armor parts that X can receive.

The first is hidden in Doppler Stage 1, which is only available if X has found all items and has NOT taken any of the enhancement chips. The capsule contains a Hyper Chip that grants him gold armor and the effects of all the other chips.

The second is in Doppler Stage 2. If the player has killed Vile before this stage and has allowed Zero to survive, using Zero through the stage makes him engage a miniboss. The fight ends with him getting damaged, and he gives X his Z Saber before retreating. Without arm enhancements it works basically like how Zero uses it in game, but with the arm parts the slash becomes a flying beam like Zero uses in Mega Man X2.

The reason the boss cannot be fought when Vile lives is that the second Doppler stage is left in derelict condition, all the windows blown out by explosions. Presumably, this is because Vile, in his insanity towards X, did a tremendous amount of damage to the building before his arrival, and the flying miniboss escaped out the open window.
The Legend of the Mystical Ninja
1
In the western release, the main characters Goemon and Ebisumaru are named Kid Ying and Dr. Yang respectively, a possible reference to the Yin-Yang, a symbol which represents seemingly opposite or contrary forces. English translations of later installments retain the character's original names.
Silent Hill 4: The Room
2
Attachment Walter Sullivan, the game's antagonist, was actually foreshadowed in Silent Hill 2. Walter is first mentioned in a newspaper scrap citing how he killed twins Billy and Miriam Locane, and then killing himself promptly after. This is referenced heavily in the plot of Silent Hill 4, not to mention that the enemy "Twin Victims" are personifications of the twins.
Dead Island
1
Attachment After starting a new game, if you choose to turn left instead of right as the game tells you to, you will see another hotel door open. Inside the room are the couple from the first Dead Island trailer, in which the couple fought off zombies to protect themselves, and their daughter, who tragically turned into a zombie during the fight.

Street Fighter II
1
Attachment In the first three versions of Street Fighter II, "World Warrior", "Champion Edition" and "Hyper Fighting", Ryu and Ken's Hadoken sprites would sometimes appear orange. Developer Akira Nishitani confirmed that this was added as an Easter egg, and wasn't a glitch as previously thought.

In later versions of the game, starting with "Super Street Fighter II: The New Challengers", Ryu would receive a legitimate orange Hadoken special move called "Shakunetsu Hadoken"
Injustice: Gods Among Us
1
When Batman uses his anti-air Bat Claw move he yells "Get down here". This is a reference to another NetherRealm Studios series, Mortal Kombat, inwhich the character Scorpion yells "Get over here!" when he uses his spear move.
Duke Nukem Forever
1
During the first fight with an Assault Commander boss, Duke says, "I'm going to kill you old style!" This is a reference to the Youtube video Ventrilo Harassment where a Ventrilo user is harassed by someone with a Duke Nukem soundboard. The voice actor for Duke Nukem, John St. John, has mentioned in interviews that he has seen the Ventrillo Harassment video, which probably lead to the line being in the game.

"It's awesome, especially the Ventrillo Harassment! I LOVE that fans have used my voice to create some very funny videos and soundboards."
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron
1
Attachment In the Nintendo 64 version, entering the passcode "CHICKEN" will allow the player to pilot an AT-ST in a special bonus level. However in the PC release, entering the passcode will allow the player to pilot the Walker in any of the game's missions.
