Both show the NPCs mimicking the same actions from the sketch including bobbing their heads, trying to pick up women and wonder who between the two guys the girl wants.

The first instance can be seen in Nem'ro's Palace on Hutta where two bar patrons are seen watching a Twi'lek pole dancing. The second is aboard Carrick station in the VIP lounge where two guards are close to a group of dancers and follow the same routine from the sketch.

The arch at the entrance to Romani Ranch is actually the same arch at the entrance to Kakariko Village from Ocarina of Time. Even the text on the sign is re-used, effectively saying "Welcome to Kakariko Village" in both games. This is more noticable in the Japanese version, which features the text in Japanese instead of the localized version's Hylian text. The Hylian text still translates to "Welcome to Kakariko Village", though.

Attachment The final battle Spoiler:with Kefka references Dante Alighieri's Divine Comedy. Spoiler:The battle starts with a devil like creature (Hell), then goes on to a level with a number of people (Purgatory, where the souls wait to be judged). Then the party does battle with creatures that look like Michelangelo's Pietà  (a sculpture of Jesus lying in Mary's lap after he was crucified). The battle concludes with a Kefka's angel in heaven. In the story, Dante asked God what the meaning of life was. This is mirrored by Kafka telling the heroes that "life is meaningless." It is also possible that Kefka is referencing Lucifer, who is known as a fallen angel. One of his attacks is called 'Fallen One,' which is one of the titles of Lucifer.
