The developer, Traveller's Tales Oxford Studios, was created specifically for the revival of the Crash Bandicoot series, with this being their first game.
Yoshi's Island DS
1
Attachment Pre-release screenshots and the game's trailer reveal that the boss, Big Guy the Stilted, would have originally been a regular Shy Guy made huge, instead of being a robotic Shy Guy (as he is missing the patches on his sprite). Another screenshot shows that a black Yoshi was going to fight the boss at one time in development.
Guitar Hero World Tour
1
Although most explicit lyrics are censored in Guitar Hero games, in the song "Antisocial" by Trust, the line "Impossible de violer cette femme pleine de vices", which translates to "Impossible to rape this woman full of vice", remains unchanged.
Mortal Kombat: Special Forces

Attachment Sonya Blade was supposed to be a playable character alongside Jax, and can be seen in early screenshots of the game. However, following the departure of series co-creator John Tobias, Midway rushed the game to completion and she was omitted.
Call of Duty: Black Ops II
1
Attachment There was a mode cut from the game called "Hacker". The objective would have been to disable and hack neutral A.G.R.s (Autonomous Ground Robots). Points would be earned both for hacking the A.G.R.s and killing other players, with using the A.G.R.s to kill other players rewarding the most points. The only thing that remains of this game mode, however, is a cut menu icon.
Franchise: Pokémon
1
Empoleon is approximately the same height as its namesake, Napoleon Bonaparte.
Pokémon Snap
1
Several of the Pokémon in the game retained their Japanese voices. Because the English voice clips were drawn from the anime, and those Pokémon had not yet appeared in the English dub, voice actors had not yet been chosen for them.
Pokémon Snap
1
Originally, the game was developed as a non-Pokémon game in which the player simply took photos, with no Pokémon at all. When the motivation for the game became unclear, it was transformed into a Pokémon game.
BioShock Infinite
1
At the end of the game, Spoiler:while exploring the various lighthouses with Elizabeth, an unused snowy hill, observatory and bridge can be found far off in the distance, hidden under the game's map. The door to the observatory is functional, but only leads to an infinite void.
Crash Team Racing
1
There is a persistent rumor that N. Oxide was intended to be a playable character, unlocked through completing various tasks and beating certain records in the game. Although he can be selected using a cheat device, he is extremely buggy, and will most likely crash the game. According to the developers, they once considered making him a playable character, but were unable to due to the extremely limited memory of the Playstation, and his boss level was designed with those limitations in mind in order to make him functional.
Franchise: Crash Bandicoot
1
After Crash Tag Team Racing was transferred to Radical Entertainment, Traveller's Tales Oxford began working on their own game starring Cortex. They put forth several proposals, but were not given the go-ahead to develop any of them.

Prospective titles were "Cortex Chaos" and "The All-New Cortex Show", and gameplay may have involved him ordering clones or robots around, similar to Pikmin. Cortex would have been kicked out of the Evil Scientist league for "fraternizing" with Crash during the events of Twinsanity, and the other evil doctors, led by N. Tropy, would have been the primary antagonists.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
1
Attachment There are four different types of pizza in the game data: "speedy", "whirly", "sappy", and "energy". Only the energy pizza is used, and restores health. The other three might have been used to give different power-ups, and are color-coded for each of the four turtles. The rom even includes unused sprites of Donatello holding and firing a laser pistol.
Maniac Mansion
2
In the Japanese version, entering "おわひ" (Apology in Japanese) will reveal the hidden message "ぱすわーどがながくてすみません" (Sorry the Password is so long), presumably a message from the developers, apologising for the game's up to 104 character long passwords.
Diddy Kong Racing
1
There are a grand total of 6 unused tracks present in the game's data. One called "Horseshoe Gulch" can be accessed using a cheat device, and seems to be used for the title screen intro. Two of the other maps seem to be early versions of Hot Top Volcano. Another, simply called Cube Test, is also found within the data of Jet Force Gemini and Mickey's Speedway USA.
The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning
1
Originally, there was to be a mini quest for Spyro to retrieve Ignitus' battle armor from the "Ape Wars" shortly after meeting him. Neither the background story nor the quest made it in the final game, although the models were used as decoration throughout the swamp.
Franchise: Yu-Gi-Oh!
1
The card "Vampire Hunter" is likely based off of the Belmont family from Castlevania. The castle from Castlevania is seen in the background of the card's art, and its translated Japanese name is Vampire Killer, the name of the Belmont family's whips.
Animal Crossing
1
Mr. Resetti was added into the game when developers noticed that, during play testing of Animal Crossing, many players were resetting their consoles to let the stock in Tom Nook's store change. They felt that this was toying too much with the game's mechanics and added Mr. Resetti in to discourage this behavior.
