Attachment The September 2000 issue of Nintendo Power contains a "Nintendo Power Online" section on page 12, featuring an article titled "Mamma Mia! It's Waluigi!" The accompanying text introduces Waluigi to readers, reveals that he has his own website: www.waluigi.com, and claims to have an upcoming online game called "Waluigi's Toenail Clipping Party".

At the time of the Nintendo Power issue's release, www.waluigi.com was identical to the official website for Mario Tennis, www.mariotennis.com. One of the files hosted on the Mario Tennis website was the Adobe Flash file "toenails_coming.swf", which is an advertisement for the game instead titled "Waluigi's Foot Fault" depicting him showing his bare feet and unkempt toenails (he also occasionally blinks). Another file hosted on the website was "toenails.swf", which was supposedly the game itself. Catalogued alongside this file are two additional .swf files named "paint_the_lines" and "deface_painting", which could be evidence of other Flash games hosted on the Mario Tennis website.

However, the waluigi.com domain has since been turned into a redirect to the official Nintendo website. The toenails.swf file was not preserved, and as of 2023 has not resurfaced.

Attachment One of Toriel's sprites, a facial expression of her with an uneven frown and an eyebrow raised slightly higher than the other, is internally called "dreamworks", referencing the "DreamWorks Face", a nickname for a facial expression comprised of a confident, uneven smirk and one eyebrow being raised while the other is down. It is named as such for the film studio DreamWorks Animation, which frequently uses this facial expression in promotional artwork for its movies.
Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl

Every character in Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl has an internal codename used instead of their name. These are:

• Orb - Garfield (Garfield is fat)
• Moon - Leonardo (Unknown, but possibly a reference to the opening shot of the '87 TMNT cartoon's theme song being the moon)
• Pizza - Michelangelo (The Ninja Turtles are known to love pizza, with Michelangelo being the biggest fan of the food among his brothers)
• Cheese - Shredder (Shredder's character design was based on a cheese grater)
• Reporter - April (April is a news reporter)
• Mascot - Reptar (Reptar is a fictional character within the Rugrats universe who appears on a variety of products, particularly toys and food)
• Duo - Ren & Stimpy (Ren & Stimpy are two characters who fight as one unit)
• Hero - Powdered Toast Man (Powdered Toast Man is a parody of superheroes)
• Squirrel - Rocko (A running gag in Rocko's Modern Life involves Rocko being mistaken for other animals, such as kangaroos, beavers, and squirrels, instead of a wallaby)
• Snake - Oblina (Oblina has a thin, somewhat curved shape akin to a snake)
• Rival - Helga (Helga has a love-hate relationship with series protagonist Arnold)
• Narrator - Nigel (Nigel hosts his own nature show-within-a-show called Nigel Thornberry's Animal World)
• Chimera - CatDog (CatDog is two animals with a single body)
• Apple - SpongeBob (SpongeBob lives in a pineapple)

The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall

There is a questline that was accidentally left out of the final game due to a misnamed file. "A Test of Determination" is a questline for the Vampire Clan where the given objective is to confront a Daedra in the local dungeon where it lives over the control the player's bloodline has in a given region. The binary file is named P0B1XL08.QBN and the text-file is named P0B10L08.QRC. As a result of this oversight, the player can never get this quest unless you change the name of one file so that it matches the name of the other.

In the files for both games are unused animations of Diddy Kong laughing. The file names in Brawl suggest that it would’ve been used when using the Banana Peel down special.

Attachment On the Xbox One X circuit board, there is an etched engraving of Master Chief riding a scorpion.

Project Scorpio was the Xbox One X codename during development and in the Halo series, the tank Master Chief often drives is named The Scorpion.
Xenoblade Chronicles
1
There is an unused playable character named Lambert in the Japanese version of Xenoblade Chronicles. He has various animations for battle sequences, as well as running, walking, and jumping animations for movement outside of battle. The model's filename is pc2. Because "pc" stands for playable character in the game, this indicates that he was playable at one point. It's unknown if he was intended to be in the final game, or if this was simply for testing purposes. His model was found in "work.pkb", which is only found in the Japanese version of the game.
Freddi Fish and The Case of the Missing Kelp Seeds

If you add the line "EddieEatsLuther=1" to the hegames.ini file and click on Luther after meeting Eddie the Eel, a hidden cutscene will play where Freddi will feed Luther to Eddie. Freddi will then turn to the camera, wink and stick her tongue out, before cutting back to Luther right next to Freddi who asks "Whatcha thinking about, Freddi?" who replies "Oh, nothing, Luther.". It's believed this cutscene was never meant to be seen in normal gameplay and was simply a way for graphic designer Tom Verre to let off some steam.

If you are using the game outside of the original ScummVM engine, you can find the area to activate this cutscene within the "HEINI" file on your system. In the box labeled "Key", type "EddieEatsLuther" (one word, case sensitive, no quote marks) and under the box labeled "Value" enter 1.

In the "HEINI" file, you can also enter "BretIsTheOverlord" (presumably referring to programmer Bret Barret) in the "Key" box and like before enter 1 in the value box to see this cutscene multiple times, or else EddieEatsLuther will be unable to be activated after the first time you see it, even if you restart the game.
