Pinball Challenge Deluxe

The game fails to save any data once turned off, even though a save feature was coded into the game. According to Stewart Gilray, director of development at the time of the game's release, hardware issues stopped this feature from working.

"We created the game to allow saves etc, but for some reason, I'm guessing budgetary, Ubisoft at the last minute decided to NOT manufacture the game with EEPROM save memory."

Stewart Gilray also went on to state that saving the game does work when using a flash cart or playing the game through emulation, and that he would "encourage people that play it to play it on a backup cart just so to allow saving."

Attachment This game bears a striking resemblance to the Mega Man: Battle Network series. The first release of the game even contained leftover sprites from Mega Man: Battle Network 6, including Mega Man's speech portrait, various frames of animation from Falzar version's Aqua Cross, and a Mettaur sprite sheet.

Originally, Conner was going to have a Chain Blade, which, according to concept art, was going to act as a long-ranged hidden blade. The weapon was not used as the teams "felt it to be heading down too much of a fantasy route." The chain blade was replaced with the real life Sheng Biao/Rope Dart.

Attachment A removed item in the game, called the Zapinator, was used by the developers in testing so they didn't have to worry about enemies. It is the strongest weapon in the game, and also resembles the Zapper, a light gun peripheral for the Nintendo Entertainment System.

DLC was planned for the game. Quan Chi and Harley Quinn were the only ones officially confirmed. There were also hints for Kung Lao and Doomsday. Due to Midway's bankruptcy, these were never released.

Attachment Deleted audio for the game reveals that Rockstar Games had intended for the high ranking Forelli Family gang member in Saint Mark's Bistro to be called Marco Forelli. However, as the audio was not used, the character remains un-named.

Attachment During development, it was once planned the original Mega Man game would have eight Robot Masters instead of the final's six. One of these two scrapped Robot Masters was Bond Man, a robot that would have used glue as his main weapon and when acquired by Mega Man, he could temporally hold enemies in place (a gimmick that would later be used by the final game's Ice Slasher).

The game's PSP remake, Mega Man Powered Up, features two additional Robot Masters: Time Man and Oil Man, whom have no connection to Bond Man. There did exist plans to add Bond Man into Powered Up, but this idea was recalled to keep Bond Man's cult status.

There are also several unused lines, fully voiced by the game's English cast. Notably, some of these lines hint at scenes removed from the game's Last Story, 2 of which featured the President and his secretary, the latter (as well as Amy) telling the President not to give up hope and a scene that would take place shortly after Finalhazard's defeat, where the President says that, as a child, he admired heroes like Sonic and aspired to be as heroic and beloved as him, with the Secretary offering encouragement.

Another set of lines that would have appeared during the ending credits feature Eggman declaring he'll conquer the world without anyone's help, as well as him and Tails agreeing not to hold back next time they meet.

MySims Agents
2
Attachment According to the game's official website, over 100 characters were planned to appear in the game, yet only 70 are in the final product, suggesting that at least 30 were scrapped. Despite this, only eight of the scrapped characters have leftover files in the game, most notably including Faith Connors, the protagonist of Mirror's Edge, and Isaac Clark, the protagonist of Dead Space. Connors can be seen in the final game as a portrait on the second floor of Boudreaux Mansion, while pre-release press coverage for the game reported that a costume for Clark was planned to be obtained through a side mission later in the mansion, but was removed before release. Designer Brian Kaiser stated that while he couldn't remember the exact reason why they were considered, he believed their planned inclusion was mostly due to marketing. Despite this, they did have ideas for how they could be used in the game, such as having Faith be found on one of the roofs high up in the City, but this never went through. Aside from them, the other leftover character files are for Madison Gray (an original character who was planned to be the twin sister of Evelyn Gray), Odin Revolution, Ray, Sandra and Tad "Flipper" McCaffrey from the original MySims, and Proto-Makoto from MySims Kingdom (whose data suggests that she was planned to be a recruitable agent). Lord Daniel from MySims Kingdom was also planned to be playable at one point according to concept artist Genevieve Tsai, who drew a character icon for him, but was scrapped.

Attachment In earlier versions of the game, the lab in Termina: Great Bay could be entered from both sides, and characters could stand on top of it. This idea was eventually canned and the laboratory was closed and moved to the background. However, the lab still has some textures and models of some pipes inside of it, likely remnants from the initial idea.

Attachment Early in development, there was going to be an enemy named "Tramplin' Stu", another iteration of Stu in the game. The Tramplin' Stu was supposed to spawn Swoopin' and Strollin' Stu behind it as it walked. To defeat a Tramplin' Stu, you must fill it with water so that the outer shell pops, then you stomp on the eye on top of it. The data for Tramplin' Stu can be found in a test map where it shows up correctly, but without its shell. Tramplin' Stu shows up correctly with its shell when moved to the Delfino plaza map.
