On April 12, 2024, the Japanese pharmaceutical company Earth Corporation released a web commercial parodying The Exit 8 to promote their new mouthwash product Mondamin. However, when the commercial was posted to Twitter, it was mistakenly labelled as a "collaboration" with the game. At the request of developer Kotake Create, the original upload of the commercial was deleted and reposted to clarify that it was an authorized parody and not a collaborative effort between them; Earth Corporation apologized for any inconvenience.
