Attachment In 1997, Nintendo released a Japan-exclusive version of Super Mario 64 which had Rumble Pak support. It also included the English voice acting which the original Japanese version didn't have, and fixed some glitches. This version would later see an international release when Super Mario 64 was included in Super Mario 3D All-Stars.

Attachment In the Super Mario 3D All-Stars port of Super Mario Galaxy, the game's cutscenes were re-rendered into HD. However, an error slipped through where Princess Peach can now be seen T-posing during the game's opening sequence just after Bowser's airships drop their anchors into Peach's Castle.

Even though all the titles featured in the collection have been known to receive full localizations in the Chinese language prior to the collection's release, it did not feature any of the Chinese builds of the games, and only includes the Chinese translation in the game menu.

Attachment When Super Mario Bros. 35 and Super Mario 3D All-Stars were released, they were criticized for being preemptively planned to be pulled from digital storefronts on March 31, 2021. This, along with the DIC Mario cartoons coincidentally being moved from Netflix to Paramount+ on the same day, spawned an internet meme depicting Mario as receiving a medieval public execution by Nintendo on that date.
