In the game's pre-release demonstration build, two files named "SET.DIB" and "SET1.DIB" can be found in the folders "SPRITES", "BACKUP" and "SPRTBKUP" (the last two of which are also included in the "SPRITES" folder). Both of these files contain sprites from Bubsy in Claws Encounters of the Furred Kind depicting Bubsy pouncing, gliding, falling, and landing, but also contain two sprites of him winking while posing with his arms behind his back, and him preparing to pounce.

There exists 27 loading screen messages in the code of Super Bubsy, but only 12 are known to be used in-game.
