Steam: Rails to Riches, along with Acram Digital's other title Eight-Minute Empire, were removed by Valve from the digital distribution service Steam after it was discovered that Grzegorz Kubas, a staff member of Acram, had been leaving positive reviews on their game's Steam pages. In a statement from Valve in regards to Acram they said "we have removed all games/DLC developed by Acram from our store, and will no longer be doing business with [them]."
Kubas later published a post on reddit apologizing for the situation and claimed the reason he did it was in spite of some "bad, unfair reviews".
