The Krion Conquest
1
Attachment The game was originally planned to be released under the title "Francesca's Wand" in the US.
Minecraft: Java Edition
1
There is an unused enemy in the game called Giant. This mob is a huge Zombie with considerable health and deals heavy damage. They can only be hurt by being hit in the legs. Giants were added in the last version of Survival Test, but haven't been used since. They can still be spawned through hacks, however. Additionally, they can be spawned using the command "/summon Giant" in version 1.7 of the game.
Super Smash Bros.
1
In the Japanese version, there is an unused voice clip of the announcer saying "Jigglypuff!", however Jigglypuff's Japanese name is Purin. This seems to hint that the developers planned to release the game in the west from the start, as Jigglypuff is the only character whose name is different in English and Japanese. This voice clip is also different than the one used in the international release of the game.
One Piece: Unlimited Cruise 1 - The Treasure Beneath the Waves
1
Because the game was released before his appearance in the anime, Nightmare Luffy's voice is high-pitched compared to his final anime voice. This was fixed in the 3DS version of the game.
One Piece: Unlimited Adventure

Attachment Although the game's localization was handled by Funimation instead of 4kids, Smoker was still edited to remove the cigars in his mouth. The cigars on his jacket however remain untouched in the game.
Franchise: Dragon Ball
1
In March 9, 2011, Toei Animation publicly recognized that the music composer Kenji Yamamoto had committed plagiarism in many of his works. As a result, each of his music tracks featured in any Dragon Ball game was replaced in every re-realease starting with Dragon Ball Z Budokai HD Collection.

The US Sonic Heroes manual states that Doctor Eggman is a feminist. This was added during localization and did not appear in the Japanese manual.
Mario Kart 64
1
In the Virtual Console versions, the lightning power-up's visuals were changed to reduce the intensity of the flash. This was likely done to avoid causing seizures.
Super Smash Bros.
1
The congratulation screens were absent in the Japanese version of the game.
Mario Kart 8
1
On the Wii U box art, Mario and Peach are going in the opposite direction of the other racers on the game's box art. This may be an oversight by the developers, but it's also possible that the box art is showing the game's battle mode.
Worms Armageddon
1
Worms Armageddon had two versions of the Wormsong included in the game. The main version, Wormsong '99, can be heard in the main menu playing in the background. The second version can be heard when viewing the statistics screen after a battle and letting the background music roll, but only in the PC version. This version has somewhat different lyrics spoken in a Scottish accent, similar to the Angry Scots soundbank available for the worms.
Worms
1
Wormsong '95 can only be heard if the original game disc is played as an audio CD in a CD player or the like. Despite essentially being the theme of the game, it cannot be heard during gameplay. However, the later versions (Reinforcements and United) added a Wormsong Instrumental Remix as the theme of the game, yet that version still lacked the lyrics.
Wario Land II
1
In the Game Boy Color enhanced releases of the game, while it's still possible to play the game on a Game Boy or a Game Boy Color, the save files for both systems were not compatible with each other. For this reason, when trying to play a Game Boy Color save file on a Game Boy (or vice versa) the game will go through a set of menus to delete the old save data to accommodate that of the other system.
Franchise: Pokémon
1
Arbok's hood pattern differs in each of the main regions of the Pokemon universe.
Watch Dogs
1
While modding the PC version, a user by the name of "The Worse" found almost all of the shaders and graphical improvements present in the 2012 and 2013 trailers for the game. It's possible that the PC version's graphics were downgraded so that it would not make the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions look drastically inferior by comparison.
Spyro 2: Season of Flame
1
Attachment On the back of the European box, it states that Spyro can swim. However, in the final game, this feature was removed and Spyro does not swim at any point during the game.
Dragon Warrior
1
In the Japanese release, the game uses passwords to resume game progress. This was replaced with a battery backup save system in the US release.
Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex
1
Most likely due to the criticisms of the long loading times in the first release, The Wrath of Cortex's Platinum/Greatest Hits re-release had shortened loading times.
Skies of Arcadia

1
The most common criticism for the Dreamcast version of the game was that there were too many random encounters. In the GameCube version the random encounters were scaled down to answer the problem.
Disney's Aladdin
1
According to Shinji Mikami, the developer of the game, the Super Nintendo box art originally featured the Genie on the front cover. However, Disney would not allow him to be featured on the front cover and he had to be moved to the back, in a much smaller image. Despite this, the Genie appeared on the front cover of the Genesis game.
