After draining the water surrounding the Swamp Dungeon, Link can pick up the fish that are flopping around as a result of the reduced water levels. If Link throws a fish back into the pond, it will verbally thank Link and give him some Rupees. However, if Link carries a fish to Kakariko Village and gives it to the Street Merchant, he will give Link an assortment of Rupees, Bombs and Arrows.

Jann Lee's ending contains references to two Bruce Lee films. The first reference, in the scene where one of the club customers stubs his cigar out on the table, is similar to a scene from the 1972 film Way of the Dragon. The second reference, when one fighter attacks Jann Lee with a nunchaku only to have him take it from him and demonstrate far greater skill with the weapon, this is similar to the dungeon scene from the 1973 film Enter the Dragon.

In 2019, a second instance of Totaka's Song appearing in Pikmin 2 was discovered 15 years after the game's original release. By entering any cave without a Memory Card inserted into the Nintendo GameCube, the "Pikmin 2 Memory Card Check" screen will appear advising the player to insert a Memory Card so the game can save its data, and will play quiet ambient music in the background. By waiting on this screen for roughly 3 minutes and 40 seconds, Totaka's Song will play.

Attachment In the opening cutscene to Stage 1, the excuse Lammy comes up with while running backstage is an exact description of the setup to the Stage 5 song "Full Tank" from PaRappa the Rapper, ending on a cameo by the teachers from that game and reusing voice clips of them saying "Let's rap for it!!" from Full Tank's opening cutscene:

Lammy: "What should I tell them?? I had a stomachache so I went to the bathroom......but there was a long line at the gas station......I told them it was an emergency......but they said: "LET'S RAP FOR IT!!!". ... Nahhh...."

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

In the Novigrad, the side quest "A Feast for Crows" is a reference to the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series by George R. R. Martin, both in that the name of the side quest is directly lifted from the fourth book in the series, and that it references events from the first book "A Game of Thrones". In the small isle of Kaer Almhult, one of the sky cells has a dead dwarf inside as a reference to when Tyrion Lannister was imprisoned inside the Eyrie's sky cell by Lysa Arryn. Geralt will say upon examining the body: "Sky cells... Nice idea for a prison without bars. Shame he didn't know how to fly".
