The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
1
If Link is wearing the Captain's Hat during the fight with Igos du Ikana, a cutscene will take place where he will mistake Link for Captain Keeta, a military general for the Ikana. He then realizes that Link is too tiny to be Keeta and then resumes attacking Link.
Silent Hill 2
1
There is persistent butterfly and moth symbolism surrounding Maria, who has a butterfly tattoo on her abdomen. Spoiler:Butterflies are seen as a symbol of rebirth in some cultures. Since she is supposed to be the reborn image of Mary, she could be seen as a butterfly. Likewise, moths are seen as a symbol of death, and Maria transforms into a swarm of black moths for the final boss. This parallels how James killed Mary.

Yoshiyuki Sadamoto, the creator of the protagonist, Kite, stated that when creating Kite, he based his proportions on Naruto, a character from the popular anime series. At the time, he had no idea that CyberConnect 2 would eventually purchase the rights to the Naruto: Ultimate Ninja series.
Silent Hill HD Collection
1
Attachment Unlike most HD Collections and HD Remasters of games, Silent Hill HD Collection made a number of changes to the core game, including the following from Silent Hill 2:

• The street and sidewalks textures have been changed to look much cleaner.
• The video tape in one of the game's cutscenes is now bordered by a TV screen rather than showing up full-screen.
• The cutscenes are stretched horizontally to appear as widescreen.
• The distances on the sign at the beginning have been altered.

These changes are most likely made because the team was working with unfinished code and had to recreate much of the game.
Silent Hill: Homecoming
1
Attachment There is a common glitch that when you enter the junk yard there will be a floating gun that glows like ammo.

Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
1
In Abe's Oddysee, the race of the Mudokons had 4 fingers, however, in the Japanese release of Abe's Oddysee, and all releases of Abe's Exodus, the Mudokons only have 3 fingers. This is because Japanese see four fingers as an insult to the "meat packing sub class" of the past and is similar to the Jews wearing gold stars during World War II. Oddworld Inhabitants saw it as extortion and removed the 4 fingered design in every subsequent release of the series.
Dead Rising 2
1
Ijiek, the fictional motorcycle company, is just Keiji Inafune's (creator of the Dead Rising series) first name backwards.
Ghouls 'n Ghosts

1
Attachment In the arcade version the main boss was named Lucifer, while in the console versions he was named Loki. This change was made to reduce the strong religious reference to the biblical Satan.
Splatterhouse
1
Attachment All of the religious symbolism in the game was either replaced (such as the cross boss and the grave at the end of the game) or removed (such as the alter in the church). Strangely, even though the alter was removed and the church was turned into a long hallway, the church music still plays, and the candles from the alter are now floating.
Prince of Persia
1
The game's developer, Jordan Mechner, wanted the prince's movements be as fluent and life like as possible. To do this, he video taped his brother, David, going through the prince's motions and rotoscoped each frame into the game.
Twisted Metal
1
There were originally different endings for each of the racers. They were filmed with real actors and some differ to the final endings. The endings were dropped for numerous reasons, most notably, the campness and cheesiness of the endings themselves, the poor production quality, and the fact that they were using the working title of 'High Octane'. The endings can be found in Twisted Metal: Head-On Extra Twisted Edition.
Mega Man X3
1
There are two hidden armor parts that X can receive.

The first is hidden in Doppler Stage 1, which is only available if X has found all items and has NOT taken any of the enhancement chips. The capsule contains a Hyper Chip that grants him gold armor and the effects of all the other chips.

The second is in Doppler Stage 2. If the player has killed Vile before this stage and has allowed Zero to survive, using Zero through the stage makes him engage a miniboss. The fight ends with him getting damaged, and he gives X his Z Saber before retreating. Without arm enhancements it works basically like how Zero uses it in game, but with the arm parts the slash becomes a flying beam like Zero uses in Mega Man X2.

The reason the boss cannot be fought when Vile lives is that the second Doppler stage is left in derelict condition, all the windows blown out by explosions. Presumably, this is because Vile, in his insanity towards X, did a tremendous amount of damage to the building before his arrival, and the flying miniboss escaped out the open window.
Silent Hill 4: The Room
2
Attachment Walter Sullivan, the game's antagonist, was actually foreshadowed in Silent Hill 2. Walter is first mentioned in a newspaper scrap citing how he killed twins Billy and Miriam Locane, and then killing himself promptly after. This is referenced heavily in the plot of Silent Hill 4, not to mention that the enemy "Twin Victims" are personifications of the twins.
Dead Island
1
Attachment After starting a new game, if you choose to turn left instead of right as the game tells you to, you will see another hotel door open. Inside the room are the couple from the first Dead Island trailer, in which the couple fought off zombies to protect themselves, and their daughter, who tragically turned into a zombie during the fight.
Snowboard Kids 2
1
The music of Turtle Island samples the music from Dizzy Land in the first Snowboard Kids.

Lani Minella (the voice actress for Rouge the Bat in the Sonic the Hedgehog series) is the only dub voice actor in the game. She voices Slash, Nancy, Jam, Linda, Mr. Dog, and the announcer, while the remaining characters, Tommy and Shinobin, both retain their original Japanese voice acting.
Franchise: Prince of Persia
1
Although Ubisoft now owns the rights to the "Prince of Persia" name, the original IP rights are still owned by Jordan Mechner, the developer of the first game. This means that should Ubisoft want to make a new "Prince of Persia" game, they must ask Jordan Mechner's for the right to do so.
