Company: Taito
1
Taito was planning to release a console of their own. Dubbed the WoWoW, it was shown at the Tokyo Game Show in 1992. It would've been a 16-bit, CD-based console with similar capabilities to Taito's arcade machines. Inventively, it would've also received games by satellite. After a few appearances, it was mysteriously dropped, never released to the public.
Franchise: Metal Gear
1
There is a recurring character within the Metal Gear Solid series called "Johnny". In each game, Snake will come across a character named Johnny, never being the same person but rather a member of a long line of Johnnys from the same family. In each instance, Johnny can suffer from severe diarrhea.

In the first Metal Gear Solid, Johnny is encountered twice. First he is found passed out and naked by the cells in which Maryl escapes, and later he guards Snake's cell before he is tortured.

In Metal Gear Solid 3, Johnny reveals a lot of back story to Snake while guarding his cell, giving insight into his family's tradition of naming every male born into the family "Johnny".

In Metal Gear Solid 4, Johnny is found suffering from diarrhea in a metal barrel, and is constantly suffering from bowel trouble throughout the story. This time, Johnny plays a protagonist, and a major role in the game's story as well.

The opening theme to the games is called "Baba Yetu" and is actually the Lord's Prayer sung in Swahili.
Lost Odyssey
1
Attachment In the Japanese release of the game, the game's packaging accommodates every disc with it's own slot. However in the European and North American release of the game, the fourth disc is just put in a nub above the instruction manual. This has caused some criticism of Microsoft because it's very easy to cause scratches to the fourth disc.

Attachment The game was meant to be longer, but due to time constraints, the high manufacturing costs of a 34 megabit cartridge with NVRAM, and Sega's commitment to a major McDonald's Happy Meal promotion featuring a sweepstakes to win a copy of the game, the decision was made to split the game into two games, Sonic the Hedgehog 3, and Sonic & Knuckles. Evidence of this split can be found in the level select menu (sound test), where levels from the second game (such as Flying Battery, Mushroom Vally, and Sandopolis) can be found.

Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage!

Attachment When the game was released on the North American PlayStation Store (PSN), it was taken down less than a week later due to reports that Idol Springs and Colossus were not working properly and contained glitches. These glitches included getting trapped in the Idol Statues, and items getting stuck within the levels. The glitches have since been fixed and the game has been re-released.
Sonic Unleashed

Attachment Many of the Street Locations are named after other Sonic characters that don't appear in the game; more specifically the members of Team Dark (Shadow, Rouge and E-123 Omega), Silver, Blaze, Pachacamac, and the Chao. Exceptions to this include Knuckles and Cream.
