Smite
subdirectory_arrow_right Ren & Stimpy (Franchise), Danny Phantom (Franchise), Rocko's Modern Life (Franchise), My Life as a Teenage Robot (Franchise), Invader Zim (Franchise), Nickelodeon (Collection)
1
When Smite launched its Nickelodeon crossover event, multiple characters were not voiced by their original voice actors.

• Invader Zim was voiced by Andrew Russell instead of Richard Horvitz
• Rocko was voiced by Matt Cowlrick instead of Carlos Alazraqui
• Jenny was voiced by Jenny Yokobori instead of Janice Kawaye
• Danny Phantom was voiced by Sean Chiplock instead of David Kaufman
• Powdered Toast Man was voiced by Michael Berger instead of David Kaye, his current voice actor and replacement for the now-deceased Gary Owens.

Zim's original voice actor Richard Steven Horvitz claimed that he was not allowed to reprise the role of Zim due to Hi-Rez Studios refusing to work with union actors, and that he felt insulted by the temporary recast. For Jenny, Rocko, and Zim, this game marked the first time they had been portrayed in English by someone other than their original actor.
Franchise: Kingdom Hearts
1
During a Q&A session at MomoCon 2015, Greg Weisman revealed that a world based on his animated series Gargoyles was proposed at one point to be included in the Kingdom Hearts series, but was scrapped due to some team members "leaving Disney".

This marks the only known instance of a world directly based on a television series by Disney ever being considered for inclusion in the Kingdom Hearts series.

Splatoon
1
Attachment In 2015, Nintendo released a free DLC update to Splatoon, adding a costume from the Japanese manga and anime series, "Shinryaku! Ika Musume", or "Squid Girl", giving the player the titular character's outfit.
Rayman Legends
1
Attachment Rayman Legends was first made known through a leaked trailer in late April 2012 that showed off early stage designs and suggested it would feature special Near-Field Communication functionality on the Wii U, allowing new gameplay opportunities by placing certain objects on the controller. This was demonstrated using figurines of a Heart, Globox, a Rabbid, and Ezio from the Assassin's Creed series. Ubisoft later confirmed that this trailer was merely demonstrative and consisted of prototype material intended only for their internal production teams, and did not represent what features the final game would have.

Ape Escape 2
subdirectory_arrow_right Space Fishermen (Game)
1
Attachment In Ape Escape 2, in "The Blue Babboon" and "Simian Citdel" levels, one-of-a-kind enemies exclusive to each stage can be found known as the "Space Can" and the "Submarine Lookalike" respectively, neither of which can harm the player in any way. Their Enemy Cards both mention that they "came to the wrong game". Ape Escape 2 was developed by Japan Studio and originally released in Japan on July 18, 2002.

A little over three months later on October 24, Sony published a Japan-exclusive game titled Space Fishermen, a collaboration between Japan Studio and the American animation studio Spümcø, Inc. under the name "Land Ho!". Both characters appear in the game as fish you can catch, presumably having found the correct game they were supposed to be in.
