Attachment In Act II: Enter the Manatee, after Guybrush returns to Mêlée Island he finds out that Ozzie Mandrill has acquired the Scumm Bar and has turned it into the Lua Bar.

This is a reference to how the previous three installments used the SCUMM scripting language, which the Bar was first named after, and how Escape from Monkey Island was the first to use the Lua programming language instead.

Attachment There's a fossilized dog called Seymour in the Lonesome Road DLC. Seymour has the appearance of a normal dog, but at a reduced size. His inclusion in the game is a reference to the Futurama episode "Jurassic Bark" in which Fry finds his dog Seymour fossilized and tries to clone him.

Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater

In Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, the Cobra Unit member "The Fear" uses a crossbow in battle and coats his bolts in the venom of the Brazilian wandering spider. Snake is hit with a bolt in a cutscene and The Fear describes the effects of the venom. However, one effect wasn't described by The Fear and wasn't displayed in the game at all. As well as causing intense pain, the venom has similar properties to Viagra, giving the victim an erection.

Attachment In the background of the Foggy Fumes level, there appears to be the skull of the mini-boss Crocomire from Super Metroid.
Castlevania: Harmony of Dissonance

Attachment You can find a giant skull with several holes in it, used as a ramp. This is a reference to the mini-boss "Crocomire" from Super Metroid. It's thought to be a way of paying tribute to the Metroid series, as Super Metroid heavily influenced the Castlevania franchise.

Attachment In the NES version of Bomberman, if players complete the 50th level it'll reveal Bomberman's true identity to be Lode Runner. Bombermen also appears as the enemy robots in the NES port of Lode Runner which was developed by Hudson Soft.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past

Attachment There is a secret room, called the Chris Houlihan room, that is not accessible via normal means. It contains a telepathy tile and 225 Rupees and is used as an error handler if you fall into a hole but the game can't find a proper destination.

This room appeared as a result of Chris Houlihan winning a Nintendo Power contest and being promised an appearance in a Zelda game. Many of the glitches used to access the room were removed in the GBA port though, along with any mention of Chris.
