Dragon Ball Z: Budokai

In the European release, many of the cutscenes which contained blood were either blacked out or made to look like the wound was dirty instead of bloody. However, the scene of Captain Ginyu pushing his hand into his chest was not censored, most likely due to his blood being purple.

Shu Takumi, the creator of the Ace Attorney series, had always wanted to make a mystery game. He gained this opportunity when Capcom told him to get 7 inexperienced employees and "make whatever you want". His idea for a lawyer based game was frowned upon by the higher-ups, but tried to convince them that the game would be interesting with its "eccentric" characters.
Doom II: Hell on Earth

Whilst the first Doom had a shareware demo of its first episode available, Doom II did not. According to John Carmack, this was because people mistakenly consider themselves to have beaten Doom when they had only beaten the shareware episode.

Attachment In the issue of Weekly Famitsu published in 9th of September 1994, Itoi refers to the battle backgrounds as a "Video Relaxant." The Video Relaxant was going to be an in-game item and was originally referred to as a "Video Drug". It can still be found in the game's files. It has no function and the description of the item is "What the hey is this?"

Attachment The article "the" is used when announcing trainers for battle (for example, Charlie the Bug Catcher. It worked for typical trainers but not Gym Leaders, Elite Four, your rival, or link battles. A screenshot in the instruction manual of the English Red and Blue still contains the text "The Brock wants to fight!", possibly suggesting a late removal. The instruction manual also calls them Pokemon Leaders, instead of Gym Leaders.
Conker: Live & Reloaded

The game was originally called Conker: Live and Uncut. However, during development the game received heavy censorship. Even minor obscenities which were present in the original N64 version were censored.

The US prototype of Mother has some enemies that are edited to remove knives, blood, smoking, and shiny breasts for censorship reasons.
