Burnout

Early press releases show that there were a lot of traffic vehicles cut from the final game, such as motorbikes, scooters and police cars for US tracks, as well as European tracks and Oriental tracks. This proves that Burnout had a lot of influence from the arcade game Thrill Drive, which also had bikes and police cars for all the 3 tracks, and also contained US, European and Oriental tracks.
Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards

Shiver Star, the game's 5th world, appears to be a frozen-over version of Earth, containing several uninhabited urban areas. Nintendo has confirmed that Shiver Star was once inhabited, but the climate drove them to evacuate the planet. This has led fans to speculate that Shiver Star is a post-apocalyptic version of Earth. Though Nintendo's intentions during the making of Shiver Star remains unknown, it can be inferred that the world is either a message about climate change, or the suggestion that the "Kirby" series takes place in our own universe.

It was later adapted as a collector's book for limited edition copies of LSD, containing excerpts from her dream journal entitled "Lovely Sweet Dream".

Attachment Vash the Stampede, the protagonist of the anime and manga series Trigun, makes a cameo appearance on a poster in Marina's bedroom. The creators of Wild Arms have cited Trigun as a direct inspiration for the setting of Wild Arms.

Attachment A Battletoads game for the Game Boy Advance was in development, but eventually canceled. A prototype version was created in a few weeks with placeholder character animations, enemy AI and sound effects. The game's design plans were to either make a remake of the original NES game or whatever the developers thought was best. A potential Xbox version was also in consideration.

Attachment The gameplay was originally viewable in both 2D and isometric 3D layouts (whilst being developed as Donkey Kong Coconut Crackers), however there were consistency issues when switching between the layouts. It was also hard for players to see the board whilst in 3D and wasn't to the expectations of the developers.

Attachment The game was originally going to run on the voxel engine, however when problems arose when having more than 2 characters on-screen as well as the inclusion of more characters and weapons, the developers decided to use Mode 7 graphics instead.

It's Mr. Pants along with other Microsoft games were being developed for the Gizmondo handheld console, however they were canceled most likely due to the platform's commercial failure.

Most are swears, slang terms (some rather dirty), or occult-related items Nintendo would rather not be associated with; some of these words are only considered "dirty" in Europe.

In addition, she was also originally to have worn a blue sneaking suit, similar to that of Solid Snake in Metal Gear Solid, so as to make her more visible. These concepts were both cut in the end.
