Wonder Project J2: Corlo no Mori no Josette
1
In a 1995 interview with the game's producer Hiroki Fujimoto in the Dengeki Super Famicom magazine, he was asked if there was any reason he chose the Nintendo 64 for the game, and he responded:

"We started planning the sequel right around the time the PlayStation and Saturn were released, so going ahead with the Super Famicom again would have been harsh, when you consider when the game would actually come out. On top of that, the developers always like taking on new challenges, so we decided to go with one of the next-gen consoles.

That being the case, rather than one of the already-released systems like the PS1 or Saturn, we ended up going with Nintendo’s new 64-bit hardware which wasn’t out yet. At the time, however, we didn’t know anything about the N64’s actual specs, including whether it would use cartridges or CD-ROMs."

In 2019, a second instance of Totaka's Song appearing in Pikmin 2 was discovered 15 years after the game's original release. By entering any cave without a Memory Card inserted into the Nintendo GameCube, the "Pikmin 2 Memory Card Check" screen will appear advising the player to insert a Memory Card so the game can save its data, and will play quiet ambient music in the background. By waiting on this screen for roughly 3 minutes and 40 seconds, Totaka's Song will play.

Team Ninja president Yosuke Hayashi stated in a 2012 interview that they took inspiration from the Uncharted series for the creation of the more interactive and destructible stages and the dramatic Cliffhanger events.

"We also wanted to hint at that flow you get into in Uncharted, where you know that something massive is about to happen. In Uncharted you fall off a cliff, or off a boat and things like that, and we thought moments like that would be great in DOA5's fighting system."
Castlevania II: Simon's Quest

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

Attachment If the game detects that its cartridge is a pirated copy, Zelda's hair will turn into a giant pentagon in cutscenes, fishing will always result in a hooked fish escaping after 51 frames of animation, and Spoiler:the exit to Ganon's Castle during the escape sequence will be blocked off to Link, as Zelda will run right through the bars, leaving Link behind and making the game impossible to finish.

Since this game did not have a storyline, the staff decided to have Rugal Bernstein as the boss character noting that "he's the only character who truly represents the ultimate KOF boss." Additionally, some of his special moves were redesigned, which the staff found to have made him the strongest version of Rugal as well as one of their favorite boss characters in the series.
Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Böse
1
In a 2003 Game Hihyou magazine interview with Xenogears and Xenosaga Episode I's composer Yasunori Mitsuda, he was asked if he would be back doing the music for Xenosaga Episode II. He revealed that he turned down the job partly due to other projects he was working on, and partly because of creative differences when his planned compositions did not match up with Namco's concepts for the game:

"No, I’m not. I had to turn it down. Partly it’s because I’m very busy, but the bigger issue was that I set some goalposts for myself and said, “ok, I want to do this kind of thing for the next Xenosaga.” But my ideas were too far apart from the vision that Namco had for Xenosaga. I had started conceptualizing the music with some of the Procyon Studio members here, and we had even laid down some ideas, but once I realized it wasn’t going to fly, I had to turn the work down. I apologize to everyone who had been hoping otherwise…!"
Um Jammer Lammy

Attachment In the opening cutscene to Stage 1, the excuse Lammy comes up with while running backstage is an exact description of the setup to the Stage 5 song "Full Tank" from PaRappa the Rapper, ending on a cameo by the teachers from that game and reusing voice clips of them saying "Let's rap for it!!" from Full Tank's opening cutscene:

Lammy: "What should I tell them?? I had a stomachache so I went to the bathroom......but there was a long line at the gas station......I told them it was an emergency......but they said: "LET'S RAP FOR IT!!!". ... Nahhh...."

Franchise: Attack on Titan
1
Attachment At the Japan Amusement Expo in 2016, Capcom announced a co-op arcade shooter game entitled "Attack on Titan: Team Battle". It was planned to have a single player mode, with an optional online network that would allow up to eight players to play simultaneously in either team versus or cooperative modes. However, in November 2018, Capcom announced on the game's official website that development on the game had been cancelled, citing their failure to create a game that would meet the standard of quality they felt would be satisfactory for players. This stemmed from difficulties in developing the game's omni-directional controls, the online and local multiplayer modes, and their attempts to immerse the player in the world of Attack on Titan.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt

In the Novigrad, the side quest "A Feast for Crows" is a reference to the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series by George R. R. Martin, both in that the name of the side quest is directly lifted from the fourth book in the series, and that it references events from the first book "A Game of Thrones". In the small isle of Kaer Almhult, one of the sky cells has a dead dwarf inside as a reference to when Tyrion Lannister was imprisoned inside the Eyrie's sky cell by Lysa Arryn. Geralt will say upon examining the body: "Sky cells... Nice idea for a prison without bars. Shame he didn't know how to fly".

Mark of the Ninja's creation was inspired by the lack of "stealthy" ninjas in popular series such as Ninja Gaiden, of which lead designer Nels Anderson felt that omission of such a prominent trait of ninjas in popular culture felt weird.

He drew further inspiration from the Thief series, of which its core gameplay is focused on being unseen, and tried to break down and translate the character and 3D environment's stealth elements over to a 2D sidescroller.
