Vyse and Aika from "Skies of Arcadia" both make a cameo appearance in Valkyria Chronicles as "Vyse Inglebard" and "Aika Thompson", members of Squad 7, and make subtle references to Skies of Arcadia in their dialogue. Fina also makes an appearance as a medic, but is not playable.

Due to her popularity among the fans, the shocktrooper Edy Nelson got her own side story, Edy's Mission: Enter the Edy Detachment, and additional skirmish maps in the form of DLC. Her detachment also appeared as cameo characters in Valkyria Chronicles 2.
