In the end credits of the Japanese release, three additional images with captions underneath them are shown during the montage of official artwork. These images appear to be drawings of ideas sent by young Japanese fans to Capcom that influenced the game's development, possibly as part of a magazine contest:

• The first image shown in the credits, submitted by 14-year-old Masahiro Onuma from Osaka, reads:


This drawing appears to be the first design for the Servbot Borer that was later simplified for the final game and later modified again in Mega Man Legends 2.

• The second image, submitted by 11-year-old Takumi Miyayoshi from the Ishikawa Prefecture, reads:


This drawing may be the first design for the Servbot training minigame in the Gym, where a Servbot has to dodge and catch bombs volleyed at it by two other Servbots and then throw them back at targets behind them.

• The third image, submitted by 10-year-old Masashi Kaga from Tokyo, reads:


This drawing appears to be the first design for the Bonne Bazooka, a weapon used by the Gustaff that can be developed by Servbot #31 after he obtains his skill and the Pipe from the Nakkai Ruins.

The text featured on the fan drawings themselves have been left untranslated in this submission as the pictures were scaled down to fit in the credits and thus appear smaller, grainier and more difficult to read.

3 unused Servbot Faces can be found in the game's data. They appear to be based on the anime characters Kinnikuman from Kinnikuman, Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star, and Odate-Buta from Yatterman.

In Japan, a special save containing Servbot #41 could be obtained through a promotion with the magazine Dengeki G. There is no other way to obtain this Servbot besides cheats, and no promotion was made outside Japan. GameShark code 8009AF0C 0001 unlocks him in the North American version. #41 can be used normally outside of Japan and all of his quotes were translated.

The "Design Magazine" given to Servbot #40 was originally an "Adult Magazine" in the Japanese version. After giving him the magazine, he can be found in Tron's bed having fun and commenting on how bland he thinks the Gesellschaft's colors are, however in the Japanese release his dialogue suggests that he is a pervert that's sniffing Tron's odor in her bed. The magazine's sprite however remains the same in both versions. #40 would also originally give you the Beauty Book but this was taken out of the Western release as it was related to the PocketStation peripheral.

This is the only game in the "Legends" series where Bon Bonne is not voiced by his Japanese actress, Ikue Ōtani, in the English version. He is instead voiced by Chuck Campbell. However, he still only says "Babu," like the Japanese version.

Two items which were available in the Japanese version but were made unavailable in the Western release were the Beauty Book and Cannon which were to be given to Servbot #38. This was because they were both related to the PocketStation peripheral which wasn't released outside of Japan. Both items can be unlocked in the western version using a cheat device, however Servebot #38's dialogue will remain the same unlike in the Japanese version.

In the Japanese release, there are four mini-games available to play through the use of the PocketStation peripheral, a special LCD memory card device with PDA features not released outside of Japan. However, using a GameShark device in the western version, you can unlock the PocketBot menu in the Gesellschaft's HQ. This would perhaps suggest that the device was at one point planned for a western release.
