After beating the main story line and all the optional dungeons, you can fight Freya from Valkyrie Profile. Located at Crosell's Lair, unlike other bosses, you can fight her multiple times.

You can fight Lenneth from Valkyrie Profile. She is located at the top of Sphere 211 after beating the main story line. She will use attacks from Valkyrie Profile, like Nibelung Valesti.

When the game was initially released, it was received with negative press, as many Japanese players found it too buggy. In 2004, a director's cut was released in which they fixed several bugs, as well as adding new features and two additional characters. The director's cut was the same as the copy released in North America and the PAL regions. This is why the back of the North American case states extra features.

In the game's English release, Adray Lasbard is voiced by Beau Billingslea, the voice of Jet in the English dub of the anime "Cowboy Bebop". In Japan, he was voiced by Unshou Ishizuka, the voice of Jet in the Japanese dub.
