Takamaru, from Nintendo's Famicom title Nazo no Murasame-jo (Localized as "The Mysterious Murasame Castle"), was included as a special playable character. The game even includes a Murasame Castle mode, which acts as a retelling of Nazo no Murasame-jo's events.
