The song "Space Dog" is based on Laika, a Russian dog who became the first animal to orbit Earth from the Sputnik 2 spacecraft in 1957, and also died in the process. This is further referenced in the song's genre "UCHU-RYOKOU" (ウチュウリョコウ), which is Japanese for "space journey".
