Nahyuta's overall character design is very gender neutral, which was meant to suggest that Nahyuta had "transcended gender". It was therefore up to the player to decide their gender for themselves. Aspects of their appearance are based on Hinduism and Buddhism, where many of the gods and deities are genderless or share both genders.
