George R. R. Martin, author of the Game of Thrones series, can be found in-game in Castlewood during Chapter 9. Under the name of "Maester Martin", he will reveal how he's writing a series of books on the modern history of Westeros. He'll lament some delays, and talk about how he's trying to finish the series soon. His dialogue is filled with references to the real world publication schedule of the latest books in the Game of Thrones series, and how he is on the sixth book.
