Early screenshots of the game show a level that took place in a house, with Jim being comparatively tiny, rather than the same size as his surroundings. Another shows him using his Pocket Rocket.

Evil the Cat was slated to appear as the boss of the "Fear" level world but was cut and replaced with Professor Monkey-For-A-Head. Despite this, his image appears on records in "Boogie Nights of the Living Dead" and is even advertised on a few of the game boxes. Additionally, Evil Jim, Earthworm Jim's evil twin from the TV series, was also reportedly a part of the game before being cut.
