A port of the game for the 3DO was planned and would've been called "Dragon Ball Z: Cell To Kogeki Da" with the final boss, Ozotto (an original character who had not appeared in any previous manga or anime), replaced with Cell. The port was playable at a convention in Japan in 1994, however it was never released. A promotional phone card was however given out.
