Puschel the Squirrel is named after Puschel, das Eichhorn, the German title for the anime Bannertail: The Story of Gray Squirrel, and her character design resembles a squirrel character from the series named Sue.

•Mafia Hen was called Mafia Chicken
•Dream Boy was called Manga Boy
•Big Elk was called Elch
•Rasta Dog was called Gangsta Dog
•Toro was called Stier "Maredo"
•Puschel was called Eichhörnchen

Punk Girl and the Crazy Frog were the only characters to keep their names.
