A video game based on Ectokid (one of the four titles released under Marvel's short-lived "Razorline" imprint launched in collaboration with filmmaker Clive Barker) titled "Ectosphere" was planned to be released during the comic's run. Not much is known about the game, other than the fact that it was being made by Virgin Games with Clive Barker as the designer, and would have taken advantage of protagonist Dexter Mungo's unique ability to switch between seeing the real world with his left eye and the spirit world with his right eye. The game was never made however, likely due in part to the comic's cancellation and the overall failure of the Razorline imprint.

Virgin Interactive made and showed off a game for the Nintendo 64 called "Freak Boy." The game was made using the same SGI systems that was used to make the Nintendo 64 possible. According to press coverage, players would've been able to modify their heroes bodies, thereby helping solve puzzles. The game was cancelled after developers were asked to remake the game from scratch 2 times.
