During a presentation at SIGGRAPH 2024, Sega producer Yosuke Okunari revealed that Sega themselves did not know exactly how many games they owned the rights to as they had only started taking the preservation of their games seriously in 2023. This included the various IPs created by acquired companies such as Atlus, Sammy, and Technosoft. Notably, the slide addressing this suggested that Sega owned the rights to games produced by WARP, a game company founded by the late Kenji Eno whose status was unknown at that point.
