According to Tesla CEO Elon Musk, a Mario Kart game that could be played while inside their cars was once proposed to Nintendo, only to be turned down as they refused to license the series to Tesla.

Even though I chose this over a potential submission that talks about how it is decided on who gets chosen to be in each Mario Kart game, someone else maybe should post such a submission if ever such a reveal were to come around.
