1
Attachment The point and click adventure game The Dig was originally based on an idea Steven Spielberg had for an unfilmed episode of his "Amazing Stories" TV series, combined with the plots of the films Forbidden Planet and Treasure of the Sierra Madre.
Dragon Age: Origins
1
Attachment Originally, the character Shale was meant to be the size of the other golems in the game. However, the developers had trouble with her fitting through doors and originally cut the character entirely. Thanks to a delay in the release schedule, they had some extra time and decided to create a new, smaller character model for Shale. This is referenced in the game as she said she was "chiseled down" by her previous owner.
Super Paper Mario
1
It is possible to get a game over at the beginning of chapter 4-1. After getting the helmet go into the door. When it asks you if you want to put on the helmet, say no. Do this until Tippi says "If you don't, do you have any idea what your fate will be? AWFUL. Do you want this?" Answer yes to every question after this. After this Tippi will leave and you will get a Game Over.
GoldenEye 007
1
Attachment At the beginning of the Facility level, players are required to open a door with a computer switch in order to progress to the next area. Unfortunately, the computer can be destroyed, leaving players stuck in the starting area. In order to get around this, the developers added a scientist that eventually rushes to the bathroom. He is carrying keycard A, which will open all of the doors in the level (with the exception of the bottling room, which requires the door decoder).
Final Fantasy VI
1
It's possible to play as General Leo in places you weren't meant to. Using the airship glitch (which is done by first getting the airship, flying around, getting back to the floating continent, saving, and then dying, giving you use of the airship to travel to any part of the world) you can skip getting a majority of the characters besides a select few. These character's slots will be replaced by characters only used in certain parts of the game, like General Leo.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
1
Attachment Pier 69, located San Fierro, is clearly modeled and named after the San Francisco tourist attraction Pier 39. A prime example of Rockstar Games' satirical style, the name is also a parody of the 69 sexual position.

Attachment While downloading content on the Nintendo Wii Shop, there is a slight chance that you'll encounter Luigi on the download page, and not Mario.
Company: Nintendo

Attachment Each Nintendo console was developed under a code name, and Nintendo hides the consoles' code name as a 3-4 letter abbreviation on the game or console's box or cartridge. For Example, somewhere above the bar-code on Pikmin is the label "DOL P GPVP" DOL stands for Dolphin, the GameCube's Code name.

The code names and abbreviations are:
(NES) for the Nintendo Entertainment System (acronym).
(SNES) for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (acronym).
(DMG) Dot Matrix Game, code name of the Game Boy.
(NUS) Nintendo Ultra 64 (sixty-four), code name of the Nintendo 64.
(CGB) For the Game Boy Color, assumed to mean Color Game Boy.
(AGB) Atlantis, code name of the Game Boy Advance (Atlantis/Advance Game Boy).
(DOL) Dolphin, code name of the Nintendo GameCube.
(NTR) Nitro, code name of the Nintendo DS.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
1
Attachment Madame Fanadi, the fortune teller says strange words while looking into the future. When you reverse her gibberish, you get coherent sentences. If you ask about love she says, "Wait... loading takes awhile." If you ask her about your career she says, "What am I talking about?"
Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories
1
Deep Jungle (The Tarzan World) was not in the game and it's remake "RE:Chain of Memories". The reason for the removal was that Disney and Square could not get the rights to use the concept and character from the copyright holders (the estate of Edgar Rice Burroughs).

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
1
Attachment The Twin Snakes portrayed Ocelot as being right-handed, as he was able to show off with his gun with his right hand. After it was cut off by Gray Fox, he attempted to do the same with his left in one scene and subsequently dropped his gun. However, he later managed to shoot the PAL key right out of Snake's hand without harming Snake or damaging the key. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater later shows that Ocelot was equally proficient with both hands and he also used his left hand throughout Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty.

Pokémon Crystal Version
1
Attachment There is a glitch where the player's colour scheme can be changed.

This is done through:
1. Starting a game as either a boy or a girl and saving.
2. Starting a new game as the opposite gender.
3. Save the game, but turn it off while it says "SAVING...DO NOT TURN OFF THE POWER".
4. When the player restarts, his or her character should be the wrong color.

You can do this without starting a new game but doing so with Pokemon in your PC will cause them to be lost.

Performing this glitch also unlocks Mystery Gift.

Star Wars: Jedi Knight - Dark Forces II
1
Attachment Early on in Level 5 "Barons Hed: The Fallen City", if you scare the villagers in Barons Hed, they will run away, and you can follow one fleeing woman who will open the locked door of a house near a bridge. If you can get inside the house fast enough, Max from Sam & Max, a franchise whose first game Sam & Max Hit the Road was developed and published by LucasArts, can be found inside sitting in a chair wielding a modified Bryar pistol (which is ironic since the Bryar pistol is already a modified Bryar rifle) that shoots highly-damaging green bolts instead of red. Max also has a high amount of health similar to that of a Dark Jedi.

Max does not play a death animation when killed. Instead, he just plays the same idle animation when he is first found, but takes on the attributes of a corpse, such as lack of collision. However if he is activated like a switch or door, he will get out of the chair and approach the room's door to exit, waiting for you to open it for him. Upon doing so, he will then wander the level, killing enemies and villagers alike. After Max has been let outside, the player can activate him again, letting them see from his view. A HUD message is also displayed reading, "It's MaxVision™!" If he is attacked by the player, he will return fire. If the player pushes Max outside instead of activating him, and attacks him, he will not fire back. If he is killed after being activated, he will freeze standing instead of playing any animation, but still becomes a corpse.

Max makes a second cameo appearance in Level 9 "Fuel Station Launch". During the final jump at the end of the level, you need to quickly snap back the mouse just before you land so you are facing backwards, which will allow you to see Max's face plastered three times on the front of the platform you just jumped off.
Punch-Out!!
subdirectory_arrow_right Mike Tyson's Punch-Out!! (Game)
1
Attachment There is a hidden circuit in Punch-Out!! called the "Another World Circuit", which can be accessed by inputting the code 135 762 4680 on the password entry screen, then pressing A, B and Select simultaneously. The fights (in order) are King Hippo, Great Tiger, Piston Honda (Second Fight), Soda Popinski, Bald Bull (Second Fight), Don Flamenco (Second Fight), Mr. Sandman, Super Macho Man, and finally, a title bout with Mike Tyson/Mr. Dream, strangely labelled as "ANOTHER MCHAMPIONN." There is no extra content in this mode, but it does serve as a way to get to the later fights more quickly.
