Retro City Rampage
1
Created by a Grand Theft Auto fan named Brian Provinciano, Retro City Rampage was originally intended to be an 8-bit style remake of Grand Theft Auto 3. In 2005, the project, then known as "Grand Theftendo", was shelved. Four years later, the project resurfaced as "Retro Theftendo" and Brian started to add elements from other games he enjoyed in his childhood. He later decided to make it a full game with original content and thus the game it is today.

Then play through Armored Armadillo's stage until the last rolling platform. As the platform bursts out of the tunnel and through the sky, dash-jump off of the platform and ascend the wall right on top of the gate to Armored Armadillo. There you will find Dr. Light wearing a Karate uniform. He teaches X the technique.
The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
1

He was a famed swordsman in Hyrule, but died with eternal regret of never having passed on his knowledge in the art of the sword. According to the Hyrule Historia, the Hero's Shade is the spiritual manifestation of the Hero of Time, the Link from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.
Donkey Kong 64
1
Attachment Despite being an E-rated game, the intro got away with mild swearing. Near the end of the song, the last line during Chunky Kong's portion of the song says, "But this kong's one hell of a guy". The game was developed by Rare, a British company, and in Great Britain the word isn't considered offensive. In later versions of the song the word is replaced with "heck".

1
Attachment When you encounter your rival in Pokemon Tower, he will ask you why you're in the tower to begin with because you don't have any dead Pokemon to mourn over. This implies that he has lost a Pokemon and has come to pay homage to it or lay it to rest. Furthermore, his Raticate from the previous battle on the S.S. Anne is replaced by an Exeggcute, Growlithe, or Gyrados, depending on the starter Pokemon you chose. This seems to imply that his Raticate somehow died between the battles against him on the S.S. Anne and in Pokemon Tower; common fan speculation states that the Raticate died from wounds received from the battle on the S.S. Anne.

Super Mario Sunshine
1

These videos are Mario fighting Bowser in Super Mario Bros., Iggy Koopa in Super Mario World, and Bowser again in Super Mario 64. In the opposite corner is a list of backwards names which represent past Mario games. Looking closely reveals that both Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64 were written with the word KIRT instead of KART.
