Mario Party
1
Some minigames like Tug o' War, Paddle Battle, Cast Aways, Deep Sea Divers, Pedal Power, and the Mecha Fly Guy minigame caused players to resort to using their palm to rotate the hard, plastic control stick faster to win or get better results. This appears to be an intended control method as it was featured in a Japanese commercial for the game, but it was not a safe way to play those minigames, injuring players through blistering, burns, lacerations, punctures, and cuts. After over 100 complaints were made to the New York Attorney General's office, Nintendo agreed to a settlement to pay $75,000 to the office to cover their investigation into the matter, and agreed to give out padded, fingerless sports gloves to injured players who could provide proof-of-purchase, potentially giving out $80 million worth of them. However, the requirements to do so were reportedly "elaborate" and it's not known how many gloves actually reached injured players. Since the game had already sold 1.5 million units by the time this settlement was reached, a warning was published in an issue of Nintendo Power that recommended players to instead rotate the control stick with their thumb, or hold it between the thumb and forefinger. This warning was also added to the start of the Nintendo Switch Online re-release of the game, as well as Tug o' War's re-appearance in Mario Party Superstars, to protect Nintendo from legal liability when re-introducing control stick minigames to the Mario Party series.

Tetris Attack
subdirectory_arrow_right Panel de Pon (Game)
2
Tetris Attack plays very differently from other Tetris games, because it started as a different game called Panel de Pon. The name and characters were changed to Tetris and the Yoshi series to be more recognizable to North Americans. Henk Rogers, the CEO of The Tetris Company, says that he regrets granting permission to Nintendo to use the Tetris name on a game that has nothing to do with Tetris.
Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell

Attachment The GameCube version can link up with the Game Boy Advance, which lets you display a real-time overhead map on your handheld while you play the game on your console.
Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster
1
In one of the game's manuscripts they describe the great scientist Nikola Tesla as a Russian scientist. This is false, as Tesla was Serbian from Croatia.
Superman: The New Superman Adventures
1
The bad decisions made during the game's development were mostly the fault of DC Comics and Warner Bros. They wanted Superman to fight people in a virtual world so he was not beating up "real people". They caused the game to be delayed 6 months and, in the end, caused the developers to not meet "even 10% of what [they] intended to do".
Demon's Souls
1
Throughout the game, mention is made of several heroes of Boletaria who were devoured by the fog along with King Allant. When Allant returned he, as well as all his men, were said to actually be demons taking their forms. In World 1-4, the Black Phantoms of the original heroes block the path.

Alfred, the Knight of the Tower, became the Tower Knight in 1-2. Curiously, this phantom also wears the armor of the Twin Fangs, Vallarfax and Biorr, the corpse of the latter supposedly in Mildred's excecution grounds in 1-1.

Metas, the Knight of the Lance, became the Penetrator in 1-3. Curiously, both the demon and Black Phantom use an incredibly long sword, not a lance.

Long Bow Oolan is left out, though it is said Oolan led a legion of archers, a characteristic similar to the legion-like qualities of the boss Phallanx in 1-1. This is debatable, though, seeing as Phallanx's legion actually uses spears and shields, and its soul forms the Scraping Spear that Alfred's Black Phantom uses.
Dark Souls
1
The Pisaca in the dungeon in the Duke's Archives are actually humans captured by the Channelers for Seath's experiments, explaining why these creatures drop a fairly consistent supply of Humanity. Two in particular each drop a different Miracle. When considering the fact that Rhea of Thorolund's Hollow can be found in the dungeon after all her Miracles are purchased, and the fact a corpse in the dungeon is wearing the Maiden Set that Rhea wears, it can be speculated that the two docile Pisacas are former Maidens, and that Rhea was going to receive the same fate.
Bully
1
Jack Thompson, an anti-video-game activist, once tried to get the game banned from sale in Florida. His theory was that "It shows you how to -- by bullying -- take over your school." However, Judge Ronald Friedman (who was appointed the trial) did not see anything wrong with the game as "there's nothing in the game that you wouldn't see on TV every night."
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake
subdirectory_arrow_right Snake's Revenge (Game)
1
Snake's Revenge was created as a direct sequel to the NES version of Metal Gear without Hideo Kojima's knowledge or involvement. Kojima met one of the developers on a train, who urged him to create a true sequel. This led Kojima to create Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake.
Spyro: Ripto Quest
