Far Cry 3

To promote the game, Machinima shot a short web series called "The Far Cry Experience" starring Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Michael Mando as Vaas. This is referenced in the cover for the game. You can also find Chris's head in the sand in the game, which will get you the "Say Hi to the Internet" achievement.

Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes

Some changes were made to Otacon's lab concerning objects lying around. Originally the anime poster on the wall was of Hideo Kojima's earlier game "Policenauts", which is changed in subsequent versions to a poster of "Zone of the Enders 2" and the Playstation lying on a desk is changed to a Gamecube with a Wavebird controller.

Two statues of Mario and Yoshi were also added. Shooting the Mario trophy plays the original 1-UP sound from the NES classic and restores a bit of Snake's health, while shooting Yoshi just makes Yoshi do his famous "Yoshi!" squeak.
Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake

Many plot elements of Metal Gear 2 were later re-used by Metal Gear Solid on the PlayStation, such as Snake having a rematch with an old foe (Grey Fox), a temperature-based shape memory alloy key (Gustava's brooch/The PAL key), following a female soldier in disguise into a ladies' bathroom (Gustava/Meryl) and Grey Fox secretly giving Snake advice over the radio (#1 Fan/Deepthroat).

Attachment Tiny Tiger was originally named Taz Tiger, since it was based off the extinct animal Thylacine, better known as the Tasmanian Tiger. His name was change possibly because it was to avoid any legal issues with Warner Bros., since there was another character that goes by the name of Taz, the Tasmanian Devil.

In the North American release, when you pause the game in the middle of Tiny's boss fight. His name reads Taz Tiger. This was a mistake Naughty Dog left behind and it was fixed in the European release.
Rayman 2: The Great Escape

Although Razorbeard eats one of the 1,000 yellow Lums (which lowers the counter to 999), you can still find a 1,000th Lum. It can be found in the Tomb of The Ancients but it does not add to the counter - it only refills your life.

Team Ninja wanted to include Master Chief in the game as a guest fighter. However, Bungie told them it was impossible for him to be in the game due to storyline restrictions but they were still interested in the idea of putting a non-cannon character from the Halo universe in the game. The end result was the character Nicole-458. In keeping with the idea of English being the language of the United Nations Space Command, Nicole is also the only character in the game that speaks English.

Attachment There was a manga series made in 1998. It was entitled Dansu! De Jump! Na Daibouken (Dance! Then Jump! It's a Great Adventure!) and it was written and drawn by Ari Kawashima. Published by Coro Coro Comics and released only in Japan, the story is loosely based on Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back. The series lasted 2 volumes before being canceled for unknown reasons.

There are several differences between the manga and game series whicih include:
• Crash speaks throughout the whole story.
• There is some mild swearing.
• Wumpa Fruits and Crystals are referred to as Apples and Power Stones.
• Many of the jokes and gags are based around Japanese culture.

Attachment Jedi Master Cin Drallig's appearance in the game is different compared to the film. In the game he's depicted with white hair and wearing light colored robes, however in the film and other media he appears having dark blond hair and wearing dark brown robes.

The first Magatama you get in the game has a hidden skill in it. Called "pierce", this passive skill lets your physical attacks be 100% effective on all enemies. You can only unlock this by completing the Labyrinth of Amala.
