Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is the first game in the series that requires players to select a stage before selecting a character in multiplayer matches. In previous entries, as is common in other fighting games, it was the opposite. This is an attempt by Masahiro Sakurai to change up the strategy of the game (specifically stage-character match-ups).

Attachment The cartridge label of the NES game Ice Climber found in the game's main treasures differs in it's appearance depending on what version is being played. In the Japanese version it uses the Famicom appearance and artwork, whilst in the Western version it uses the NES appearance and artwork.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Attachment Solid Snake's series logo was changed from the FOX emblem that was used in Super Smash Bros. Brawl, to the exclamation point seen when being caught in most Metal Gear Solid games.

This is likely because the FOX emblem (which first appeared in Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater) is also commonly associated with series creator Hideo Kojima and his company Kojima Productions, a former subsidiary of Konami. Kojima left Konami in 2015 and the removal of the FOX emblem to represent the series is likely a biproduct of the split.
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

In April 2018, the iQue Player (a Chinese console based on the Nintendo 64) was cracked after 15 years. Upon hacking the console, a never before seen Taiwanese ROM of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time was found suggesting that the system and/or the game was planned to be localized in that region.

The design for Flugo+ is different in international versions of the game. The Japanese version exclusively features text on the pill with other versions opting to remove the text.

Attachment In the Japanese version, Oil Man had black skin with peach-colored lips.
In the US/European versions, he was recolored blue with yellow lips.

Attachment Defeating an enemy with a non-buster weapon in the Japanese version of the Mega Man Zero series would make robot characters spout out something resembling blood. It was removed in the US/European versions. Oddly enough, the rating for the Japanese version of the Mega Man Zero series were unaffected.

There is a glitch in the PAL version, that is not present in the American/Japanese versions.

Finishing a mission between 00'50"00-00'59"99 and 01'50"00-01'59"99, removes 50 seconds from the timer, giving the player an impression that they finished the mission faster.

In the Japanese version version of the game, it's only possible to earn Mission Crowns by playing the game's Mission Mode in multiplayer, but in the western versions, the player can be awarded crowns in both single player and multiplayer modes.

In the western versions of the game, the mission mode difficulty was toned down. As a result of that, enemies are given less HP, the player is awarded Munny for beating missions, and some of the enemies enemies take less damage than they do in the Japanese version.
The Fairly OddParents: Shadow Showdown

As a result of The Fairly OddParents series being distributed by Nelvana International in PAL regions, all mentions of Nickelodeon were removed from the game when it was shipped overseas. This prompted the change of the copyright screen, company logos, as well as the title screen which originally featured the Nickelodeon brand on the show logo.

Attachment In the "Favela" level, some players complained about the Arabic script on the picture frame that is written "Allah is beautiful and He loves beauty" in the bathroom.

The map was removed from the game on the 6th October 2012. It was put back into rotation on the PS3 version on the 23rd of October after an update which replaced the frame borders, and on December 10, 2012 for the Xbox 360 version.
