This was removed because of how cumbersome it was and how it was almost no help in helping players on how to analyze enemy camps.

In a 'VLADTV' interview with Mike Tyson, he was asked about the offer Nintendo gave him to use his likeness for Punch-Out!!. The offer amounted to $50,000 for a 3 year deal with no royalties, which Nintendo ultimately made more than $1.7 billion on. Tyson said that he knew nothing about business at the time, and in retrospect had made a bad deal by accepting Nintendo's offer.

According to Takaya Imamura in the Nintendo Dream magazine, before Star Fox became the name of the series, they thought of other names for the series, like 'Star Glider' and 'StarCraft'. The idea for the 'Star Fox' title came from Star Wars' title 'Star', and the main protagonist Fox McCloud's 'Fox' race.

The main theme for "The Firefighter with Heroic Aspirations" sounds extremely similar to the main theme of the 1984 film, 'Ghostbusters'. The connection is likely a nod to the fact that the Ghostbusters' headquarters is located in a firehouse.

In the PSP War of the Lions remake, in Chapter 4 on the 1st of Cancer if you have kept Agrias, Mustaio, Alicia, and Lavian in your party and have 50,000 gil, there's a secret scene where if you stop at a town, Mustadio will buy Agrias a Tynar Rouge and hint at having feelings for her, with Ramza acting as his wingman. This scene can only be triggered once per game.

However, the games creator Sabrina Diduro got permission from Ziyo Ling (the original creator of Lilac, Carol and Milla) to use Carol and Milla in the game.
