The Sandpit 2 track seen in the game is actually an updated version of Track 2 from the 2002 FlatOut prototype demo. Despite originating from a prototype of FlatOut, the track has not been seen in any of the series' games.

During the final cutscene of the game, Spoiler:Sonic rushes past Elise, which then causes her to look around. After not seeing anything, one of the girls behind her asks "Miss Elise?". Although Elise replies "It felt like... someone was calling me," the subtitles accidentally include an extra "like" in the sentence.

The game was originally developed by BottleRocket (who developed Afro Samurai) up until early 2009. Namco then cut the developer from the project and took back the console development kits they gave to the crew. BottleRocket went out of business after this. Development of the game was handed over to the internal development team at Namco Bandai Games, who hired some people who had previously worked for BottleRocket to complete the game.

In the Super Smash Bros. series, Yoshi is usually one of cast's heavier fighters. He even outweighs Samus and Ganondorf in the PAL versions of Super Smash Bros. Melee and is on par with Wario in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Despite this, Yoshi is usually labelled as a lightweight or middleweight character in the Mario Kart and Mario Tennis spin-offs.

Attachment As a result of a sponsorship deal between the motor racing circuit Donington Park in Leicestershire, England and SEGA, the 1993 European Grand Prix was adorned with SEGA logos. Even the race itself was renamed the SEGA European Grand Prix.

Ayrton Senna won the rain-drenched event after passing four cars on the first lap and holding off his teammate Alain Prost through the race's length, and was presented a trophy which featured Sonic the Hedgehog. While the image of Senna holding this trophy was widely circulated around the Internet, it was unfortunately only a fake trophy used for a photo op. It's unknown what became of the Sonic trophy.

According to former Nintendo president Hiroshi Yamauchi, the GameCube's cheap price was the result of Nintendo's perception that gamers cared only about the games themselves, and that game consoles were just pieces of hardware that were required to play the games. As a result, Nintendo decided to make the GameCube's price significantly lower than the competition's in order to make the former's titles more accessible to consumers.

Through Square Enix's PlayOnline service, players were able to play an online variant of Tetra Master, the card game from Final Fantasy IX. It used characters from both Final Fantasy IX and Final Fantasy X.

The game was unfortunately discontinued on December 31, 2010.
Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn

In Chapter 13, "Blood Contract", the objective is to last against an army for twelve turns with the help of ally NPCs. One of the NPCs is an archer manning a ballista in the top left corner of the map. Nicknamed "3-13 Archer", this NPC has gained a reputation in the Fire Emblem community for attacking and surviving numerous enemy encounters, going as far as leaving his turret to block advancing enemy units.

King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow

A pamphlet that came with King's Quest VI listed a bunch of radio stations that received the game's iconic song, "Girl in the Tower". Although some radio stations complied with caller requests for the song, others had their phone lines jammed with calls and some stations threatened to sue Sierra for their publicity stunt.
Overwatch

Hongyu Wu, a Chinese Overwatch player, lost his life whilst bravely chasing a motorbike thief on May 23rd, 2016.

A memorial was placed in his honor on the Control Center map of Lijiang Tower, where the name "宏宇" (Hongyu) is placed on one of red team's space suits. The phrase "英雄不朽" (Heroes never die) is also added to the background behind it.

In the 3rd level of the 5th world, there is a screw puzzle that, once completed, can be fully unscrewed to reveal two Waddle Dees crudely drawing a battle between Kirby and King Dedede. These Waddle Dees later appear in the 8th level of the 6th world with the same puzzle, where they are playing Kirby's Adventure on a Famicom system.
