Mario Kart 64
1
The voice clips for each of the menu options in the Japanese version of the game are in English, but the speaker has an inconsistent accent, and emphasizes each word in an unnatural manner. These voiceovers were replaced with Mario's voice in the international releases.
Super Smash Bros. Melee
1
Mario's vocals for his down special move and back throw were used in Mario vs. Donkey Kong. This is the only time a vocal from any character in a Super Smash Bros. game was reused in a game outside the series.
Super Smash Bros. Melee

Attachment Falco's voice actors, Ben Cullum and Hisao Egawa, are credited in the credits even if he has not been unlocked yet. This is likely due to his appearance in the intermission of the Corneria stage in Adventure Mode.
LEGO Island
2
There are six audio files on the game's disc containing unused dialogue for the Infomaniac. These voice lines include:

• Two lines where he says to put the disc back into your computer, as if you had ejected it. These sounds are never played, as the game will crash when ejecting the CD.
• One line where he warns you about entering a duplicate username, which in the final game will result in just using the already existing user, instead of overwriting it as suggested by the audio clip.
• Three lines where he describes scrapped, more complicated features for an earlier version of the registration book, including manual saving, loading, or starting a new game where you would be asked to click on red or green bricks. In the final game, you start a new game by typing in your name, load a game by clicking on a checkmark, and the game auto-saves. The red and green bricks were only used when asking if you want to quit the game.

A hastily edited version of one of the lines intended for CD removal is used in the cutscene that plays if the executable file is lauched without the CD inserted, where the word "back" is noticably removed from "Whoops! you have to put the CD back in your computer". Foreign language dubs of the game do not have an awkward cut, though some retain references to the CD being returned to the computer as opposed to simply being put in.

Franchise: Rayman
1
Attachment Rayman once had an animated TV series made around 1999. The show lasted only four episodes, and it was cancelled because of poor writing and lack of funds, despite the fact that the show was funded by the government in Quebec, Canada. In the English dub, Rayman was voiced by Billy West, best known for his many roles in "Futurama," in addition to Bugs Bunny, Elmer Fudd, and Ren & Stimpy.
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance

1
Arin Hanson, also known by his YouTuber alias Egoraptor, provided the voice for Dr. Bruce Banner during the development of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance after winning a contest held by Activision. Hanson described the experience recording Banner's lines as "humiliating" as it was the first time he had to work in a professional recording booth let alone for a AAA video game, and believed it was a bad performance. Hanson initially claimed in 2013 that his voice was used in the PlayStation Portable and Nintendo DS versions of the game, but a DS version does not exist and he is not credited in the PSP version. In a later email correspondence with a user from the Lost Media Wiki, he stated he recorded his voice after Activision informed him that it would be used in select versions of the game, those being the Wii, PSP and PlayStation 3 versions. Since this was also a local contest, Activision assumed that all auditions were coming from Los Angeles and in the surrounding areas. Hanson got a "congratulations" email and was invited to Los Angeles for recording, but he was unavailable at the time. His recordings ultimately went unused in favor of another voice actor due to time constraints from Hanson only getting a chance to record late in development. However, his unused recordings would end up being added in the 2016 re-release of the game.

Brütal Legend
2
Attachment Originally the famed vocalist Ronnie James Dio was meant to be the voice of Lord Doviculus. However as the game went further in development the role was given to actor Tim Curry. Tim Schafer explained that "Anyone who has seen his amazing performance as the Lord of Darkness in the movie Legend knows why we cast him in the role of Doviculus, Emperor of the Tainted Coil."
Gex: Enter the Gecko
1
In the American release of the game, Gex is voiced by comedian Dana Gould. However in the European release of the game, Gould's voice was replaced by that of English actor Leslie Phillips, who provided a very different, more cultured and refined variation of the character.
Metal Gear Solid
3
Attachment Most of the voice actors were credited under pseudonyms since they did not know if the project was supported by the Screen Actors Guild. The only ones who used their real names were David Hayter (Solid Snake) and Doug Stone (Psycho Mantis).
